Chapter 9: Nachos

I woke up to Drake lightly shaking my arm. I squinted my eyes at him so the light wouldn't sting my eyes.

"Yer"

"Your phones ringing " He gave me my phone and I answered it.

N-Hello

C- Hey Nika

N-Oh hi mum

C-Why do you sound fed up

N-I just woke up

C-Isn't it like 2 there?

N-Yer, but I fell asleep in the sun and I've only been asleep about an hour

C-Ok then. I rang because I wanted to have that talk with you

N-Could you ring again tonight, cos we're at Jungle Water

C-I guess

N-Thank you

I could hear crying in the background.

C-I'm going to have to go take care of your brother

N-Can I talk to him?

C-Sure

M-Hewo

N-Hey my little lamb chop!

M-Nika!

N-You being a good boy for mummy?

M-Yes

N-Good boy, now why were you crying?

M-I not tired but mummy said go sleep

N-Aww, you've got to do what mummy says even if you don't want to

M-But I not tired

N-Would you go to sleep for me?

M-Okay

N-Good boy

M-When I see you again?

N-Not for a while, sorry

M-Why you not come?

N-Because its best if I don't

M-Okay, I miss you

N-I miss you too but I gotta go now so could you put mummy back on?

M-Ok, I wove you

N-I lobe you too

C-Hey

N-Hey

C-We all miss you very much

N-I miss you all too

C-Why don't you come and stay for a week?

N-I don't know

C-Please, its only for a week

N-I'll think about it

C-Ok, I expect an answer from you when I next ring ok

N-Yes mummy

C-I gotta go now

N-Ok, I love you

C-I love you too bye

N-Bye

I hung up the phone and chucked it into my bag.

"You wanna go on a slide?"

"Not yet, I just wanna stay here for a bit"

"Alright"

"Could you tie my bikini?"

"Yer, sure" I closed my eyes as I felt Drake's hands on my burning back.

"Ahh! That hurts" I said referring to my burning back.

"Sorry, what did I do babe?"

"I think my backs burnt"

"Did you put sunscreen on?"

"No, I forgot"

"I'll put some on now for you"

"Thanks" I heard him squirt the lotion on his hand and rub them together. I gasped as I felt the cool cream on my hot back. The way he was massaging the cream into my back was so relaxing. Once he'd finished my back, he went on to my legs.

"Mmmm, thats nice" I told him as he reached my feet. I felt his hands leave my feet. "No...massage my feet" I told him. Once again, I felt his hands on my feet. After about 5 minutes, he stopped massaging my feet and went back to rubbing the sunscreen on my body. Once he'd finished my arms, I had to turn over so he could do my front. He rubbed it in to my stomach and then down my legs.

"Close your eyes" He told me as he added a bit more sunscreen on his hand. He gently worked the sunscreen into my skin. His hand made their way down my neck and onto my chest. I bit my lip to stop a moan escaping. "Finished"

"Thanks"

"Whats up?" He asked grabbing my hand.

"Nothing" I told him as I bowed my head, looking at our hands.

"Babe, please tell me"

"Can we talk about it when we go home?" I looked up into his eyes.

"Of course" He lent foreward and kissed my forehead. "You wanna get something to eat?"

"Yer, I'm starving" I said rubbing my stomach. He grabbed some money out of his wallet in his bag.

"Come on then" He stood up and held his hand out to me, I took it an we walked. "So, what do you want?"

"Hmm, nachos" I smiled.

"Nachos it is then!" Drake cheered.

"Stop acting like a damn fool" I shoved him playfully and he shoved me back. "Hey" I pouted.

"Aww, I sorry" He said while wrapping his arms around my waist.

"Where's th- Ahhh!!" Drake picked my up, scaring me back. I wrapped my arms around his neck and my legs around his waist. "Why you picking me up?" I asked him, but he just shrugged. "Don't you even think about chucking me in" I told him.

"I'm just being nice" He smiled.

"Aww" I leaned in to kiss Drake but he moved his head. "What's wrong?" I asked getting worried.

"Would you rather kiss and fall or not kiss and not fall?" He asked rhetorically.

"Oh, haha thought I had bad breath or something" I giggled.

"That as well" Drake smirked.

"I do not have bad breath! Do I?" Drake started laughing.

"No babe, I was joking"

"You better be" I warned him. "And put me down, I can walk my damn self" I demanded.

"What ever you say Ma'am" He lightly dropped me to my feet and we continued walking. Once we got there, there wasn't a line so we got served quick. Once we got our nachos, we walked back to Sandi. She was still asleep when we got back. "Come sit"Drake said. I walked over to him and sat on his lap with his nachos on my lap and I held my own. "Nice?"

"Yummy" I replied before stuffing cheese and salsa covered nachos in my mouth.

"Slow down, it ain't going no were" Drake chuckled as I rolled my eyes. We finished our nachos and I put the rubbish in th bin. "You wanna go on the slides now?"

"In a bit, lay down" He laid down on the sun lounger and I went and laid beside him, with my head on his chest. "Can I have that kiss now?" I asked looking up at him. He lent down a kissed my lips.

"Thanks"

"Anytime"He smiled. "I love you"

"I love you too" I smiled. "It feels right saying it to you" I told him.

"That because we were ment to be"

"Oh, shut up"

"Its true though"

"Yer" In this moment right here, my life was as perfect as it could get without my parents.
