"You saw a demon and you're saying it wasn't a wraith or a Tarask?"

Camila nodded. "Precisely."

"This is bad," Beatrice breathed, unable to completely internalize the panic bubbling inside of her. "This is really bad."

"Yeah, I think we figured that much out," Mary responded. "So what can we do about it?"

"Well," Lilith spoke from the bench she sat on while her arm was getting wrapped up. The bolt had torn a sick hole into her bicep that would take a good while to recover. "I would say finding out what it is is a good start. And it's safe to assume that this was Vincent and Adriel's doing, so maybe start a proper search for them instead of just keeping tabs on local news?"

Father Steven sighed. "It's a good idea. I trust that you will be able to handle the research. I will also alert Mother Superion on the situation. I trust she will have a mission planned regarding the man hunt shortly. Until then," he sighed, "stay close to one another as often as you can. We don't want any casualties because of a surprise visitor."

The group watched as he exited the infirmary. Lilith shill had to be put into a sling to rest her arm. "So..." Ava started, "hopefully your powers include super healing?"

Lilith sighed. "It's a possibility. I haven't sustained any severe enough injuries to test it with, but this could be one."

"On a brighter note," Camila grinned ear to ear, "if we have to stick together as much as we can..." she looked around the room expectantly. When no one responded she finished her own sentence. "This is the perfect excuse for a sleep over!"

Ava gasped. "I've never had one of those."

"Do we really have to though? I don't think he meant that all the way."

"Hey, last time I checked, you can be attacked in your sleep." Ava pointed a joking finger at Lilith. "A sleepover would be fun! Don't ruin it for us."

Beatrice swallowed hard. "I don't know. I do prefer the quiet of my room."

Ava wrapped her arms around her shoulders from the side. "Oh please?" Beatrice turned a dark shade of crimson. "It'll be fun. And we can hang out and talk and do friend shit."

"Language," the nuns all murmured in response. Ava did notice the faint crack in Beatrice's correction. And Mary's little chuckle said that she wasn't the only one to notice it.

"I'm taking advantage of this." Camila made her way to Ava's side.

"I am too," Ava responded, playfully hip bumping little miss Sunny Bunny.

Mary smirked. "Count me in. We all need a break."

Beatrice sighed. "Fine."

Camila enthusiastically clapped her hands, her face lighting up even brighter than anyone thought possible. "Lilith?" she pleaded with puppy dog eyes. Lilith looked away hoping to avoid the look that she just couldn't say no to. But surely enough, Camila walked forward reaching up to cup her cheek and gave her no choice.

"Okay," Lilith sighed.

"Yay!" Camila exclaimed jumping up and down like a fool.

"You're such a twerp."

"But I'm a cute twerp."

Lilith chuckled. "Yes you are."

Mary gave an exaggerated wolf whistle. "Look at these cuties! I sure hope they can see each other's obvious attraction to one another." Mary turned to face the other source of strong sexual tension in the room. "Speaking of..."
