"Viv did you spread some rumours?"

"Viv did you spread some rumours?"

I was somewhat calm despite the fact I had no charges on me, or spread any public embarrassment to Belinda and my father. Even when I also had to suffer through some sessions. But I needed to know this detail.

"What do mean?" I could practically see the furrowed brown eyebrows of the French girl. Of course her eyebrows would be perfectly shaped compared to mine.

"Well, Mr Harlem said he heard that Katrina and I have been 'provoking' each other hence we both got counselling sessions. Together."

As a response, I hear laughter on her end. "Oh my...you're serious? This is hilarious. I have to tell the others."

"So you did do it?"

"What makes you think, mon amie, my friend, that I would be the only one to?" I heard the smile in her voice.

I hadn't really considered that any of the others would do the same. Because well, they hated me. Despite me punching their enemy, the hate would still sit and warm until they had a chance to get back at me. The boys especially.

God knows what they have up their sleeves. Because they were certainly taking their sweet time with the revenge. Maybe they would end up doing nothing. After all, I had the blackmail, not them.

"So what are the charges? What kind of a deal did your pa- um people manage to broker?" I roll my eyes.

"None actually. Because Katrina's sweet brother surprised everyone in the room by dropping any idea of charges. Or the press."

I was met with a lot of silence after my reply. I was starting to think she dozed off when she cleared her throat, "Her brother was there?"

"Yes...why?"

"Well he was supposed to be in Sweden. Guess he came back early."

Her voice wonders off and I remain confused. "Is he studying here?"

"Yes sophomore in NYU, he was working for his dad again this summer. Usually Mr Wallin keeps him for prolonged times before letting him get back."

"And I thought he cared about his kids' education." I'm yet again met with silence. "Viv is there something you-"

"You know what? We should tell this to the rest. They'll be rolling with laughter for sure."

"Let's not forget, I have to endure this too."

The next line she says catches me off guard. "Oh but you're Camille Sanders. You'll probably not even show up," she laughs, not cruelly. I knew she meant it as a sort of compliment in her own way.

Sly though really. Not something I expected from Vivian Evora, who seemed to ooze goodness and enthusiasm. And the comment was more of a statement.
