I had texts the following weekend mornings when I woke up. Texts I ignored because I had better things to do with my time. Better and only things being starting and finishing all my homework and assignments.

It was better to clog my brain with math problems than my ever expanding thoughts. So I ignored the lovey-dovey couple from across the hall and dining table, focusing on completing my work and actually studying. While studies were usually my form of distraction, this time I was preparing for the oncoming exams as well.

One thing that almost slipped my notice was the email I had received, with the additional letter to the house, containing the details of how I, Camille Sanders, need to attend summer school. Apparently, it's already been signed off on by Belinda and it's a sure thing. I have to attend summer school next year for a full three months.

It didn't really matter now if I did good or not. Yet the nerd in me couldn't help it. Once the time comes, I'm going to somehow charm or bribe my way out of stupid summer school. So continuous good grades should help achieve that goal in the future.

I talked with both Jerry and Mathew over the weekend which helped me put my mind at peace. Listening to them drone of their lessons and tell stories of the latest happenings at Medfield High lifted my mouth into a grin. I loved hearing how my old classmates were doing, especially with a new reigning hierarchy it seems.

I even decline Viv's offer to go shopping with god forbid, Rose. And then further decline her mani-pedi session. Seemed like they're approach was all the same; butter me up.

I wonder what Isaac would do. Throw another party and get me high so this time he can tell Michael to get out of the shot? That would be hilarious.

So when I drive to school bright and early on Monday morning, I wasn't expecting to see what I saw in the deserted parking lot save for a few cars.

When I park in my usual spot beside the Ferrari, I find Isaac inside his blue BMW. I frown, getting down and knocking on his window.

He looks at me, giving me a slow grin as he rolls his shutter down. Smoke wafts out and I cough. "What the heck are you doing Isaac?"

"What does it look like?" he waves his hands across the smoke-filled car, a blunt between his fingers.

"Oh my god, get out." I grab his cigarette and throw it to the ground as he protests. Stomping on it for good measure, I glare at the fair-haired idiot. "You're stupid you know?"

He gives me a withering glare, "So you love to remind me despite proof of my intellect. What the fuck was that for?"

"Do you want to get expelled?"

"Since when did Miss Stone Cold Hearted start caring?" he shoots me a look. I roll my eyes and open the car door. "Relax, we've done this plenty of times before. Plus, I'm not even inside the school building."
