Chapter 4 - Lilith

As Riot and I split paths, I look back at him to see him walking down a hallway. He was a very attractive man, but in this situation I had other things to worry about. Trying to escape was stupid I knew that. There were dogs that walked around, men with guns surrounding the house.

It would be impossible. Especially with Ava. She was so sweet, and so innocent. I couldn't leave her to fend for herself in this house.

I continue to follow the maid until we get to an elevator.

"You're going to be living on the 3rd floor. Do not go into the higher floors, under any circumstances. I'm very sorry you're in this position, dear." she said as she pushed the button for it to go to the 3rd floor.

"It's not your fault, I shouldn't have gone out anyways. I'm Lilith, by the way." I said sticking my hand that wasn't carrying Ava out.

"Im Kat. You're a very pretty girl, Lilith." she said as we entered the elevator.

"Thank you, so are you." I said smiling.

We got out of the elevator as it reached my floor and walked into a giant bedroom. "This is your room, for now. Avas is currently being built." Kat says as she goes to the closet and pulls out a pair of clothes.

"These are the extra clothes we have, the don sent one of his girls to order more for you and Ava." Kat said as she led me to a bathroom.

"Don?" I said as she turned on the shower.

"Yes, that's what you must call him." she said as she was leaving.

"Please dont mess up Lilith. Your innocence is a good reminder of who we once were." she said, and with that she shut the door.

Ava was still sleeping on me so I had to wake her up.

"Aves, wake up." I said as I started tickling her sides.

She picked her head up and started to rub her eyes.

"It's bath time." I say and she holds up her arms so I can undress her.

After she's undressed I turn on the water and wait for it to heat up. I'll just shower after she's asleep. The water gets warm and I put the bath plug in, wait for the water to rise a couple inches, and then turn off the water.

I exit the bathroom to go see what Kat brought out for us. There were two shirts, a small and a large, a pair of underwear in a bag for me, and sweatpants. I'm assuming they didn't have any for Ava, which is fine because she's still a baby.

I take the oversized shirt and go back in the bathroom to wash Ava off. Taking out her ponytail, I gently dip her back into the water and get the shampoo and conditioner I found under the sink out. She's singing a nursery tune as I do this and I start to sing along.

"There were two in the bed and the little one said, roll over, roll over. Then they all rolled over and one fell out." We sang, and Ava laughed.

I finished washing her hair and took the soap and started washing her. After I rinsed her, I unplugged the bath and went to get a towel.

"Ava! I'm gonna get you!" I said as she started laughing.

I bent over to get her out of the bath and began to dry her. After applying lotion to her body, I put the smaller t-shirt on her, picked her up, and began rocking back and forth. I felt her head drop and I walked  out of the bathroom and placed her on the bed.

I surrounded her with pillows so that she wouldn't fall off and get hurt. Turning around I walked back to the bathroom and began to undress. The straps left marks on my skin, but I brushed the thought away as I got in the shower and began to wash my body. I didn't want to leave Ava alone for too long so I did everything I could as fast as I could.
