Chapter 15 - Lilith

I walk out of Riots office and go into the elevator. I didn't want to be in a mafia, let alone control one. Riot knew this stuff, and he was going to take it, with or without my permission.

The doors to the elevator open and I walk out, trying to figure out where Ava is. I see her sitting on one of the couches in the front room, and I walk towards her. She lifts her head up before smiling and running towards me, grabbing my legs. I look up, seeing all four bodyguards surrounding us.

Ava notices too, and she runs to the back door. Two of the guards chase after her, and the other two stay with me. I walk behind Ava, watching as she opens one of the back doors and runs into the garden. I look down, but look back up when I bump into someone.

"I'm so sorry-" I begin to say as I look up.

There's a girl with brown hair and brown eyes, looking back at me. She seems to be the same age as me, and I tilt my head as I look at her. She looks me up and down before I turn my head, noticing someone approaching me.

Riot walks down the hall, glaring at the girl then me. He looks at the guards, and they quickly look down. I look back at the girl to see her still looking at me, and I smile.

"Hi, im Lilith." I say and the girl nods before opening her mouth.

Riot cuts her off and grabs her forearm, dragging her down the hallway. I watch them as they walk, and the girl turns her head to look back at me.

I look back towards the doors to see Ava tapping on them, telling me to go to her. I walk towards the doors and open them, seeing Ava starting to run back towards the garden.

We spend some time walking through the garden, examining the flowers and little bugs. Ava freaks out overtime she sees one move, causing her to run back to me. Eventually, we walk out of the garden and into the field. We walk around the border of the field where the grass meets the forest until Ava gets bored of it.

"Can we play in the forest, Bunny?" Ava asks and I shake my head no.

"There's bugs in there, Aves. There's also bears, not the cuddly kind either." I say and she pouts.

"But we never do anything new. We've played in this field everyday. Im bored, Bunny." she says and I sigh.

"I know, Ava. Maybe if you're really good, i'll ask Riot to add something new." I say and she smiles.

We finish walking around the border, and the bodyguards silently follow us. The sun starts setting, so I gently take Avas hand and lead her towards the house.

When we enter, we walk to the dining hall and I let Avas hand go for her to enter.

"Don said you're allowed in today."  one of the guards say and I nod my head.

Ava and I walk to our seat and I notice the girl from earlier sitting next to Rome. Riot looks at me as I help Ava in her chair and serve her.  Then I serve myself, and look up to see the girl is looking at me.

"You're not supposed to stare at people, Bunny says it's rude." Ava says and I turn to look at her.

The girl laughs before looking back at me.

"Aren't you a cutie? Im Anastasia." she says, and I smile and nod to her.

I go to pick up a slice of a cucumber off of my plate, but Riot beats me to it. He eats it and I pick up the other slice of cucumber. I look up to see Anastasia talking to Rome. Riot stays quiet as he eats his food, only talking to Rome.

Ava pulls on my wrist and I look down at her. She points to her plate, telling me she's done, and I pick up her late and place it on top of mine. I help her out of her chair before picking our stuff up and walking out of the dining hall.
