Chapter 25 - Lilith & Riot

I walk towards the elevator with Lilith in my arms, feeling her hold on me loosen. I press the button and wait as I hear the guards behind me, one of them carrying Ava.

"Put her in her room. If Lilith wakes up tonight, she'll come down to care for her." I say and they nod.

I turn back around and get in, looking at the guards as the door shuts, leaving them on the first floor. I brush Lilith's hair out of her face and look at her in the reflection of the elevator walls. The doors open and I walk out, opening my door as I walk to the bed.

I place her down and start walking to the bathroom to get a towel. Pushing the bathroom door open, I open one of the cabinets to get it. I pull out a brown towel and walk back over to her before drying her off.

When I'm done, I throw the towel on the ground. I look back up at her and wait for her to wake up. Her head is turned away from me, and I play with her fingers as I wait. She shouldn't be asleep for too long, she passed out because she was holding her breath.

She turns her head and breathes deeply before opening her eyes. She looks at me before looking down at the sheets.

"Why do my friends always end up hating me?" she asks.

"Anastasia wasn't your friend. Instead of looking at you with love she looked at you with jealousy." I say and she nods.

She sits up and comes near me, wrapping her arms around my neck. I rub her back and she relaxes. After a couple minutes, she pulls back, but keeps her hands on my shoulders.

"Maybe I need guy friends instead." she says and I pull away from her.

"Shut the fuck up." I say and she laughs.

"Kidding!" she says, reaching for me.

She wraps her arms around my neck and places her chest on mine, pushing me onto my back. She plays with the ends of my hair until she sighs and gets up. I watch her as she gets off the bed and goes into the bathroom. I hear the water turn on and get up, following her.

When I walk in, she's pouring soap into the water to make bubbles. She turns around to smile at me before putting the soap onto the ground and undressing. I watch her as she takes off her bikini and then gets under the water.

She's the most attractive woman I have ever seen. Her personality makes it even better. I undress and follow her in, getting behind her. She leans back onto me when I get under the water and links our fingers together.

I didn't want to do anything sexual, she was still in a fragile state.

"When are we leaving?" she asks.

"We can leave tomorrow. When you wake up, pack Ava's bags." I say and she nods.

She turns around so she's facing me and I wrap my arms around her back.

"What's your favorite color?" she asks.

"That's what you want to talk about?" I ask and she nods.

"Black. Yours?" I ask.

"White." she says.

She looks to the side of us and sighs before leaning back onto me. I could tell she was trying to distract herself so she wouldn't cry.

We sit in silence for a while until she leans off of me and unplugs the bathtub. She stands up and stays still for a second, wiping her face. I smack her ass as she stands in front of me, and she laughs. She steps out of the bathtub and goes into the shower, turning on the water and washing her body. I get out and go into the shower, getting under another one of the shower heads.
