Ashley's POV

Lily pulled into a parking spot and we all got out. We walked in a group towards the door when none other than Serenity started sprinting towards us.

What the hell is she doing here?!? I know everyone at this school and she most definitely does not go here.

When she got over to us, she immediately approached Payton.

Clingy much? What are you gonna go make out now?

I need to calm down.

But I can't stop being mad at her no matter how much I try.

"Hey Payt!" She smiled.

Oh hell nah.

She did not just call him my signature nickname.

His eyes immediately darted to me, "Don't call me that." He said quickly.

"Why not?" She looked up at him confused.

She was around my height and honestly looked similar to me but with blonde hair. She was dressed in a big oversized hoodie and leggings with her hair pulled up into a high ponytail.

Wait.

I recognize that hoodie.

That was Payton's hoodie.

This bitch-

It's fine.....I have to get used to this. I'm the one who told him I didn't want anything with him so it's my fault.

Ashley.

Now.

"Because I...." He looked at me and back at her, "I just think you should choose another nickname."

Damn that was kinda awkward-

I stepped forward to draw her attention away from Payton, "Hey, I didn't know you went here?" I said trying to be as nice as possible.

It's not like she meant to do anything wrong. She just met a guy and kissed him. None of this should be blamed on her.

"Yeah, I moved a couple weeks ago, and it took a bit to settle in, so I didn't transfer until this week," She smiled.

"Oh!" She perked up, "We should compare schedules."

She turned back to Payton and smirked, "What do you have first period?"

"Me and Payton both have math," I gave a fake smile and interjected.

"Wow really? I have math too!" She gave an irritated smile and turned back to Payton, "What about second?"

"Me and Payton have the exact same schedule," I interrupted again, "So it's AP chemistry, what about you?"

"English," She clenched her jaw through her extremely fake smile, "I'll just read all of mine and Payton can tell me if he has any classes with me." She turned back to him again.
