Chapter 43

So I actually Edited this Chapter

No joke

I actually did it

I know it's very shocking

It's totally just because this chapter is short, but at least I did it.

Ashley's POV

He gave me the box and I shifted it around in my hands. My thumbs rubbed against the smooth wrapping paper.

"Are you gonna open it or?" He laughed.

"Let me enjoy the pretty wrapping paper," I lectured. It was wrapped in pink paper with light brown polka dots. I gently lifted the corner of one of the taped edges in hope to preserve it and carefully removed the rest of the paper, uncovering a white box.

"You should make it into another crane," I giggled, placing it on the top of his head.

He laughed and took it off his head, "Maybe after you open the gift," He nodded to gesture towards the box.

I nodded and lifted the lid to reveal a lined piece of paper with neat writing. I delicately lifted the paper and began to read the carefully inscribed note.

"Ashley,

We aren't far into our relationship yet, but I want you to know how much I care about you. You're so perfect in countless ways. 

You're my cuddle buddy, 

my gorgeous girlfriend, 

my favorite person, 

my dream, 

my reason to keep going. 

Underneath this note is a special present for the girl who is My Everything."

My eyes lined with tears as I stared down at the beautiful message. One of the teardrops fell down my cheek and landed on the sheet, creating a small blotch on the page.

I placed the paper next to me and looked down into the box. A gorgeous diamond bracelet laid in the container. 

I covered my mouth with my hand and stared down at the stunning piece of jewelry, "Payton you didn't..." I looked over at him.

"But I did," He smiled and picked up the bracelet. He lifted the hand that wasn't on my mouth and carefully slid the bracelet onto my wrist.

"Thank you," I beamed and immediately pulled him into a hug. His arms felt warm as I snuggled into him. His warm breath swept across my neck.

"Anything for My Everything," He rubbed circles around my back.

I really hope you guys enjoyed this book because it was my first ever book.

I've literally come so far since the first chapter and writing this has been one of the most amazing journeys.

Sorry for making the final chapter so short.

I will most likely make a sequel to this in the future, but right now I have other books that I'm planning out.

Right now I'm Currently writing my book "Mr. Moneybags" which I am really loving so far.

And I'm starting another book called "Nothing Like Hell" really soon where I'm using my actual writing style.

The books that I have prepared I think just get better and better, but My Everything will always hold a special place in my heart since it was my beginning on Wattpad.
