Ash's POV

We turned our gaze back to the movie in front of us. I leaned on his chest and I could hear his soft heartbeat echo through my ears. My eyelids began to feel heavy and before I knew it I had fallen asleep.

"Ashhh, Ashley, Ashley, Ashh, Sleepyhead," I felt someone rubbing my arm. I slowly opened my eyes to reveal I was still in my basement. I looked next to me to see I was cuddled into Payton and he was lightly moving my arm in order to wake me up.

"Oh hi," I smiled up at him and said, still half asleep.

"You slept a long time. The movie ended an hour and a half ago," He said softly, taking a piece of my hair and twirling it on his finger, "Your hair's soft."

"Thank you I conditioned it," I giggled, "What time is it?"

"It's 5PM," He answered.

"I'm still tired," I rubbed my eyes.

"I'm sorry I had to wake you up, but my arm is falling asleep, so could you lay on the other side?" He asked sweetly.

I laughed softly to myself and stood up. I walked to the other side of the couch and layed on the other side of his chest. He curled his arm around me and I found myself quickly falling back into unconsciousness.

Payton's POV

I felt Ashley's light breaths as she quickly fell back asleep on my chest. I softly combed my fingers through her velvety hair. After a couple of minutes I was beginning to feel my eyelids droop, I heard footsteps creaking against the stairs.

"Heyyyy....aww that's cute!!!" Tessa yelled as she reached the end of the stairwell.

"Shhhh, she's sleeping," I widened my eyes and hushed her as the rest of the group crept down the stairs.

"Sorryyyy," She apologized.

"You should be," I felt Ashley lift her head off of my chest.

"Ayy she's awake," Lily laughed.

"No, I'm asleep," Ash said, putting her head back down.

"Time to get up Ashleyyy," Angelica said in a devilish tone before creeping over to us and pulling Ashley off of me.

"Heyyy," We both whined at the same time as Angelica set her down on the floor.

"Fine I guess I'm napping on the floor," She laid down on her stomach and shut her eyes.

"Damn, you guys really went and ruined that for me," I pushed my lips together into a line and gave them a death glare.

"Now Angelica's the one ruining peoples lives," Cole shook his head in fake disapproval.

I put the recliner of the couch seat down and stood up. I layed down next to Ashley on my stomach and buried my face into the carpeting, "I'm depressed now and it's your fault Angelica," I muttered, rather inaudibly since my mouth was nestled into the floor.

"Yeah, yeah stop being such a baby," Brent said as he lightly kicked me in the side.

"That's rude," I muttered. I turned my head and shot him a squinted glare.

"Oh now he's mad," Brent teased.

"Don't try me Brent," I hissed.

"Babyface is angry," He continued.

I slowly stood up and playfully pushed him, "You're a bitch."

"No you," He pushed me back. We got into a small play fighting match until I finally got him to tap out when I twisted his arm.

"Oh so noodle arms is strong," Cole laughed.

"Yeah, no I'm not trying to argue with the football player," I laughed and looked over at Ashley who was half asleep on the ground. I layed down facing the ceiling on her back.

"Hi Payton," She said softly in a sleepy voice.

"Hey Ash," I responded.

"Why are you lying on me?" She asked lightly.

"Because it's comfy and I missed you," I answered.

"I was away from you for like 15 minutes. Clingy much?" She teased.

"Oh okay, I see how it is Ashley," I retorted.

"I totally don't like you at all," She said sarcastically.

"Yeah I hate you so so so much," I added.

"Good to know it's mutual," She giggled.

Ugh, I loved that giggle. It was the cutest thing you could ever hear in your life. Everything about Ash was so cute that I could barely believe it. Every moment with her felt like a perfect dream.

"We get it you hate each other," Lily said in a bored tone.

"It was cute at first, but you're already too couple-y," Brent added on.

"Yeah Brent and I have been dating for a hot minute and we're not nearly as annoying as you," Angelica laughed.

"You're jealous of my annoying relationship, huh Angelica?" Ashley joked.

"Yeah very," Angelica said sarcastically.

"Yeah we only wish we could be as irritating as you guys," Brent laughed.

"Speaking of relationships, are Lily and Joel finally together yet?" Cole asked.

"Oh that?" Lily asked, "Yeah he cheated on me," She pursed her lips.
