Chapter 35

Y'all know what i'm going to say so I shouldn't even bother, but...

Ashley's POV

"I'm in love with you Ashley Willow," He held my hands in his, caressing his thumb against my hand, as tears streamlined down my flushed cheeks, as I smiled so hard that my face hurt.

"Ashley-" I cut him off by practically tackling him backwards so that he was laying on the mattress as I kissed him with all of the built up feelings in my heart. He kissed me back as I hovered over him. The tears from both of my eyes met at the bottom of my chin and stopped flowing. I let the moment I shared with him take me away.

I pulled away with him and we made eye contact. We held our gazes until I rested my head on his chest. I turned over, still laying on him and looked up at the ceiling, "I didn't realize it at first, but I've been falling for you more and more every single day that I've known you. The first time I saw you, I thought you were so incredibly cute and then then you smiled, and you had the most adorable dimples," I smiled

"When I finally realized how much I liked you, you were gone, but I couldn't stop thinking about all the things that you did that made me happy. Like, the way your hair falls over your face when you fall asleep, or the focused face that you make when you're on your computer, even the way you lip sync to songs makes me feel warm inside. Your smile turns me to mush, and your kisses feel like a gateway to heaven. And being in your arms makes me feel so secure, like nothing could ever go wrong. I kept craving being with you while another girl whisked you away, but I couldn't keep myself from falling in love with you over and over, harder and harder each time. I'm in love with you too, Payton Moormeier, I have been for longer than even I knew."

(a/n: istg if you guys take that last line wrong I will choke you. This is a cute moment)

My eyes glossed over again, tears dancing in the waterline of my eyelids, just about to spill out. I felt Payton move from underneath me as he sat up. I shifted off of him and he took my hand again and pulled up off of the bed into a standing position. He kept hold of my hand and walked me over to the window.

"It was the night we had our first sleepover," He looked at the window and back at me, "At 5AM, when we watched the sunrise and then it started to get cold so you wanted to go back inside. You were half asleep and I gave you my hoodie because you were freezing. You dragged me downstairs and held onto when you climbed onto the mattress and quickly drifted off to sleep, but you held me the entire night. That was the night I knew just how special you were."

"I don't remember much of that since I was so exhausted," I giggled.

He smiled and continued talking, "I had known that I liked you before that, I mean, I even failed to ask you on a real date by adding a stupid 'aS fRiEnDs', " He mocked himself, "But at that moment it just felt so right to be with you. Everything about it just felt right, and I knew in the back of my head that you were irreplaceable."

I couldn't stop a smile from plastering itself across my face the entire time. My entire face felt like it was surrounded in warmth.

"Normally, I'd like to take you back on the roof for this, but I kinda can't due to the snow, so I'll do it here," He laughed, taking my hands in his for the third time, "Ashley Willow, will you do me the honour of being my girlfriend."

"How do I accept that offer 1,000 times?" I laughed and hugged him. He hugged me back and we swayed back and forth for what felt like forever.

We pulled away and I looked him in the eyes, "I'm hungry," I muttered.

He cracked up laughing, "Then let's go to the kitchen, you dummy."

So the chapter's kinda short but I tried.

Anyways they're dating now so you can't get mad that the chapter's short.

Also, if you read my other book I'll love you forever because it's flopping very badly right now and I'm sad.

I promise it's good....I think?

Also I don't think anyone even needs to attempt to read what I put before my chapters anymore, it's always just different ways of me saying I didn't edit-
