Lydia woke up to the sound of a keyboard typing furiously. She had fallen asleep in Stiles's bed while he had decided to stay up to do research. He was searching through the Argent's bestiary for anything that might explain Parrish's condition. He had only stopped for a short time to tell his dad about their house guest, not offering too much information about the situation in an attempt to maintain Parrish's privacy. Noah made his son promise to explain everything later once they had it figured out as he had grown quite protective over the deputy.

Stiles looked up from his computer at the sound of Lydia stirring.

"Morning." He said simply before returning to his task.

"Have you been up all night?"

"I slept those few hours before your nightmare." He reminded her. "But other than that yes."

"Stiles-"

"I couldn't sleep and figured I could be productive. I talked to Derek this morning. The pack should be back in about an hour. He said we could bring Parrish over once the pack all goes home. He doesn't know about your relationship he just thinks that your banshee powers led you to him and I felt bad for my dad's deputy."

"Stiles-"

"I found a couple options but I think Derek might have a better idea about what we're dealing with. We could also probably get Deaton to meet us at the loft to check him out, see if its anything he has seen before. And-"

"Stiles shut up," Lydia ordered. He sighed and turned to her. "Why don't you try to get some rest? I'll wake you when they're back." She offered, worrying about him.

"I'll sleep later. Now come look at this." Stiles was still scrolling through the bestiary looking for answers. Lydia got out of bed and combed through her hair with her fingers in hopes of looking presentable. "So far I've found a few things. I've been focusing on the whole fire thing and the Argent's have a few options in their bestiary. Uh there's a phoenix which apparently doesn't shapeshift into a bird, and there's also a jinn-they've never come in contact with one but there are a lot of signs that they do exist I guess. The one that makes the most sense is a hellhound." Lydia leaned over his shoulder and read over his notes.

"You think he's possessed?" Lydia questioned.

"That would explain why he doesn't know anything." Stiles trailed off and Lydia knew he was remembering the time when he had been possessed. He had ended up in Eichen house and almost had a hand in killing most of their pack members. Allison had been stabbed but luckily nothing serious was hit and she recovered. Lydia placed a hand on his shoulder, pulling him back to reality. "On the bright side, if he is being possessed by a hellhound, he's not a threat. They aren't evil they are just doing a duty to protect the supernatural world.

"There's one more thing about hellhounds. They have a connection to banshees."

"Where's Stiles?" Scott asked as the whole pack gathered in the kitchen.

"Lydia's gone too." Allison pointed out as she leaned her head on Scott's shoulder.

"They went back to Beacon Hills last night. Apparently they wanted to be alone away from people with supernatural hearing." Derek lied. Erica, Malia, Aiden and Jackson cheered while the others let out small laughs or groans. "That means Scott and Allison will need a ride back."

"We can take them." Kira offered, ignoring the protest from Malia. Everyone else turned to the were coyote and she looked to Kira for help.

"Sorry." She mumbled not sounding completely genuine. Derek chuckled, smiling at how much Malia reminded him of his sisters. She was definitely a Hale.

"Lydia said you guys can stay here for the rest of the day as long as you clean up after yourselves. Anyone coming with me, we will be leaving in 10." Derek left the room to pack his things while Erica and Isaac both sighed, annoyed at his wanting to leave.

"So the rest of you get to have fun and we get to ride back with Mr Grumpy Pants?" Erica questioned. Derek growled in the other room and Erica rolled her eyes, knowing he couldn't see her. "Going to pack now." She said to him, dragging Isaac and Boyd behind her.

"Still can't believe Stiles and Lydia left us here." Scott sighed, shaking his head.

"They really couldn't wait one night." Aiden laughed seeming almost impressed.

"Stilinski probably just didn't want us to hear him crying at The Notebook." Jackson scoffed.

"Or maybe they finally sealed the deal," Allison suggested.

Derek could hear the pack guessing and he knew he couldn't stick around much longer without getting mad. He finished getting his stuff and brought it out to the car. He waited a few more minutes before yelling for them to get in the car. Isaac, Boyd and Erica rushed out and hopped in, throwing their stuff in the trunk of the Camaro. Erica called shotgun and smirked as Boyd squished himself into the back.

As they drove Boyd and Isaac fell asleep in the back leaving Erica to chat with Derek, much to his dismay.

"So who shoved the stick up your ass?" Erica asked nonchalantly, nearly causing Derek to crash as he swerved.

"What?" He choked out, turning to her after regaining control of the car.

"You seem grumpier than usual." She shrugged and Derek realized what she meant. He relaxed slightly and refocused.

"I don't know what you're talking about."

"Mhm sure." Erica stared at him while Derek did everything he could to not look at her. "I bet you just need to get laid." She shrugged, earning a growl.

"We're done talking about this." He snapped and she rolled her eyes.

"Maybe you are but come on. We're worried about you. You're getting old Der, the time is now. Don't you want to get married and settle down?" Derek wondered how Stiles would react in this situation. He'd probably ramble on about something and try to distract her until she changed the subject. He smiled as he thought about Stiles somehow managing to talk himself out of these conversations all the time. "I know that smile. Who is she?" Erica blurted tearing Derek away from his thoughts. "Or he?" She added waiting for more information. He wondered why she had said that. He had only dated girls in the past and he wasn't overly fond of talking about his personal life with the pack. The only ones who really knew were Stiles and Lydia which almost didn't surprise him. Peter seemed to know but Derek had never confirmed anything to his uncle.

"No one." He said sternly, hoping she would get the hint.

"I will figure it out." She assured him.

"There's nothing to figure out."

"We'll see about that."
