A few days passed and Stiles hadn't spoken to Derek. The entire pack could sense their alpha's distress.

"What's wrong?" Allison asked Scott as he let out a loud groan. They were sitting around their usual picnic table.

"Isaac has been insufferable." Derek's betas were taking his mood especially hard. Erica had been overly snarky and Boyd was somehow being even quieter than usual. Jackson was a bigger douche than usual and Isaac... "He has barely left my side all week."

"Where is he now?" Lydia questioned.

"I sent him to ask Jackson about the game tonight." Scott shrugged. "It was the only way I could get him to leave me alone." Usually, Scott didn't mind Isaac's company but it had been a bit much. Since they lived together it was even harder to get away from him when he needed space.

Ethan plopped down at the table, earning weird looks from all of them. Though they were packmates and friends, they never really associated at school.

"Jackson is driving me insane." He pouted, explaining why he had graced them with his presence.

"That's just Jackson." Lydia chuckled.

"He has been being extra Jackson lately." Scott agreed with Ethan. Since he and Ethan had gotten together, Jackson had mellowed out a lot. He could still be a cocky asshole, but most of the time he wasn't so bad.

"Is this because of Derek?" Allison wondered aloud. "We've all noticed his mood..." Lydia was the only one who really knew what was going on with their alpha and she had no way to explain it to them.

"Do you think this has to do with his boyfriend?" Ethan questioned.

"It definitely has to do with his boyfriend," Lydia mumbled under her breath.

"Where's Stiles?" Malia and Kira joined the four of them at the table, noticing the absence of their friend.

"I haven't seen him all morning," Scott confessed with a shrug.

"Stinlinski better not miss the game tonight, McCall." Jackson snapped as he walked over from his own table. He was being followed by Isaac and was clearly just as irritated as Scott. Ethan rolled his eyes as Jackson squeezed in between him and Lydia.

"Derek is always moody, why would this time be any different?" Scott asked, turning the conversation back to their prior discussion.

"Whatever is going on, we have to figure it out before the game tonight or we're screwed," Kira mumbled, glancing between Jackson and Isaac.

"I might have an idea," Lydia admitted, chewing on her lip as the table all turned to face her. "I'll handle it." Lydia stood up and strutted away. A part of her was annoyed that she always had to do everything herself but she also knew there was no other way. She dialled Stiles's cell as she distanced herself from werewolf ears.

"Hmph," Stiles mumbled into the phone.

"Where are you? Are you still in bed?"

"You sound like my dad." Stiles groaned, rolling over.

"Get up, I'll be there in ten." Lydia was one of the few students at Beacon Hills high that could afford to miss a few classes. She heard another groan in response and hung up, hopping into her car. She drove to the Stilinski's and noticed the Sheriff's car was not in the driveway. She walked inside and went straight up to Stiles's bedroom. She threw the door open and rolled her eyes at the mess of blankets on the bed. She noticed his foot sticking out and sighed. She grabbed the edge of his comforter and yanked it off of his form.

"Oh my God!" Stiles screeched as the cold air hit his bare torso.

"I told you to get up." She shrugged in return, earning a glare. "I want you dressed and in my car in five." She ordered. Her heels clicked as she left the room, heading back to her car. She sat in the driver's seat waiting for him. She checked her makeup in the mirror and texted Allison that she would go to the game with her. When Allison responded, Lydia noticed the time. Stiles had one minute to get in the car before she was going up there and dragging him out by his ear.

Stiles slipped into the passenger's seat with a frown on his face. She noticed his bag slung over his shoulder and smiled slightly.

"I'm not taking you to school." Stiles noticed the path she was taking and shook his head.

"Take me home." He crossed his arms.

"You have to talk to him."

"Lydia-" Lydia slammed on the breaks and turned to Stiles.

"You're being ridiculous. You love him, he loves you. You're mad at him for something you overheard and have no context for. Stop acting like a child and talk to your boyfriend-

"What before I lose him?" Stiles snapped.

"You're not going to lose him," Lydia yelled back. "You're not going to lose him. But if you really love him then you'll start acting like the man we both know he deserves." Stiles opened his mouth to respond but stopped. "If you won't do it for Derek or yourself, do it for the pack." She started driving again but the pair sat in silence. She pulled into the parking lot of Derek's loft and parked. "I'll see you at the game." Stiles got out of the car without another word. He climbed the stairs and held his hand up to knock. Before he could, the door swung open.

"Stiles?"
