A very short-term relationship

Devlin stayed in our house. We're watching a series in Netflix right now, in my room. I couldn't process everything. Am I officially an idol's girlfriend?

"Devlin?"

"Yes, honey?" he genuinely smiled.

"Am I officially yours?"

"Yes. And I'm officially yours," he kissed my forehead.

I couldn't stop thinking of his career. What if our relationship ruins his career?

"What a-about your management? Will you tell them about this?" I asked again. He looked at me like he wasn't expecting that question.

"Hmm yes, honey. I'll talk to my manager later." I got nervous by his answer. What if hindi nila ako tanggapin?

I can't upload our pictures on my social media accounts. I can't tell everyone that I'm in a relationship with him. This is just our first day but I'm overthinking already.

Afternoon came and Devlin had to run some errands. He even told me that he'll talk to their management regarding our relationship.

Days had passed, and Devlin didn't bother to talk to me. I just assumed that he was busy with his upcoming concert.

Nag-focus nalang ako sa studies ko. I shut my mouth and avoided topics related to idols. Zandra knows about it but since she's my bestfriend, she didn't bother to spread the news.

"Bes? Si Xhaiven oh," Zandra said. One day that we were sitting on a bench.

I looked at the direction that she was pointing. It's really Xhaiven, walking towards our direction. He stopped right in front of me.

No one noticed him because our location is quite hidden.

"I'm here to ask you something."

"Go on."

"Can you go with me on a date?" I couldn't answer his question. I shouldn't tell him that I'm in a relationship with Devlin.

"Bes... Just say yes nalang. Hindi niya p'wedeng malaman na kayo na ni Kyenn," Zandra whispered. She's right, telling Xhaiven about my relationship with Devlin could lead things at worst.

I'm now sitting in front of Xhaiven. He rented the whole place so that it would be comfortable for the both of us.

"How's your studies?" he asked while smiling.

"Everything's fine. I'm not having a hard time when it comes to my studies. I'm receiving good grades as usual," walang ganang sagot ko.

"As expected. Oh about Kyenn pala... Who are you to him?"

Sasagutin ko na sana siya na kaibigan lang ako ni Devlin pero may dinagdag siya.

"I thought he likes you. Akala ko lang pala. He's dating Shairah. The female idol." Nabitawan ko ang tinidor at kutsara nang sabihin niya 'yon.

"W-Why? I mean, p'wede ba 'yon?" I sounded too jealous.

"Yes, of course. Not to mention that with Shairah, Kyenn would be more famous."

That breaks my heart. This isn't true. Devlin told me that he wants to announce everything in public. Why would he even date another girl while we are in a relationship?
