Chapter 19 ~

Nina's POV

My phone was endlessly ringing. Kahit gusto ko pa matulog, pero mukhang hindi na ako patutulugin nung tumatawag. Kinuha ko yung phone ko from the side table and answered the phone.

"Nina? This is Amber."

"Hmm?"

"I'm coming to your house. Actually I'm on my way."

"Hmm.... W-wait what?"

"I said, I'm coming to your house.”

“WHAT? WHY?”

Nagulat ako sa sinabi ni Amber. Wala naman kasi kaming usapan na magkikita kami ngayon. Sakit tuloy ng ulo ko.

“Magsho-shopping tayo. Sasamahan mo naman ako diba?”

“You should have said earlier.”

“I texted you four hours ago and I assumed that you haven’t seen it. Anyway, malapit na ako. I’ll hung up na. See you!”

And with that she ended the call. I checked my phone and saw her text . Shoot! 11 na pala. Tinanghali na ako ng gising. Well late naman kasi ako nakatulog.

I fixed my bed and went straight to the bathroom. Baka maabutan pa ako ni Amber na hindi pa ready. Binilisan ko na lang so I can still prepare for my breakfast kaso hindi na natuloy yung balak kong brunch since she arrived after I fixed myself.

The next thing I know is hatak hatak niya na ako papunta kung saan-saan dito sa mall. I’ve got no energy for this since I haven’t eaten anything and sobrang bangag ko lang talaga. We’re in a boutique looking for a dress, well si Amber lang talaga yung namimili. Nakasunod lang ako sa kanya.

“Hi Nina, Hi Amber. Nice to see you here.”

“Hi Irish!”

Masayang bati naman namin ni Amber sa kanya.

We had a little chat with her. She’s also looking for a dress. What’s the occasion at naghahanap sila ng mga dress. But I didn’t have the energy to ask. They were so fond of looking for dresses and pati ako pinagsusukat na rin nila. As I have said, wala na akong energy para tanggihan pa yung mga pinapagawa nila. I just want this to finish as early as possible kasi nagugutom na talaga ako.
