Sharon's pov

I couldn't believe the words I was hearing. Sabrina left? Just like that?

Hearing the fact that she left Adam brought me a little bit of satisfaction. I knew I was over everything about her, but nonetheless that made me happy

But when I came to know that she replaced my place in my daughter's life, I couldn't stand back.

Sabrina took so many things away from me. I wouldn't let her take Lia too.

But now that she was finally gone, maybe, just maybe Lia could have her whole family. A family comprising of Draco, me and her

I looked at Lia who was fast asleep in the car seat. My heart filled with love as I stared at her. I regretted leaving her but now everything would be okay. We would live together and I would never leave her again

I drove back to Draco's house, a smile playing along my lips.

When I reached, my brows furrowed in confusion as I saw an unknown car parked there.

Immediately I called Draco,

"Hey. I'm here"

"You are. Why don't you come inside then"

"Ya. Just wanted to tell you to keep the door open. Lia's asleep. I'll carry her inside"

"Oh sure"

"Umm did anyone come home?"

"Uh no. I'm alone."

Strange.

"Oh. Okay"

With that, I cut the call as I carried Lia back to the house.

I placed a kiss on her temple, as she rested her face on my shoulder.

And when I reached the door, Draco was standing there expectantly. As soon as he saw me, he pulled Lia out of my arms and hugged her tightly

I was hurt as I didn't want to let her go. But I didn't say a word

"Come in. I'll place Lia on her bed and come back"

I simply nodded. I waited for him to return and when he did I immediately hugged him, shocking him.

"Thank you so much for today. I...I can't begin to describe how happy I am today as I got to spend so much time with her"

I really was grateful for Draco. He was the only person besides Lia whom I cared about. Now, with Sabrina gone, he could be all mine

Draco removed my arms from around him and slightly pushed me back. Disappointment flooded through me

"I...I'm sorry. I really am thankful by the way. And...I know you might not want to hear it now. But I just want to say, you mean alot to me. And now that Sabrina's gone, maybe we could...we could give each other a chance"

His jaw clenched as I said that

"You...you think something will ever happen between us. You think I would want to do anything with a fucking psychopath "

I felt my heart shatter as I heard his words. Did he...did he know about my past? But how?

"Wh..what?"

Sabrina's pov

I was alone with Adam in Draco's room. I was standing at one corner of the room while he was standing at the other.

Draco had just gone to take Lia.

He wanted to call the cops but Adam insisted him not to. And sadly, I knew the reason why. He wanted revenge. The revenge which he once wanted to take from me.
