Draco Malfoy
Finally, the King girl had come to Hogwarts and she was everything my parents had warned me about. She was rude, and stubborn and not to be trusted. And I despised her even more when I saw that she wore one of the Slytherin rings, it means we were equals and I hated that. Every Slytherin was below me and I could use that against them. But she was an equal so I couldn't use superiority against her.
And I knew nothing about her and that wouldn't do.
But that would soon change with the help of Blaise, who had seemed rather intrigued by her.
As we walked back to the common room I put my plan into action.
"Find out about her and report back to me." I whispered to Blaise who frowned and looked back at me.
"No. If you're so interested you go find out about her yourself." He shrugged and I curled my fist up in a ball.
"She won't talk to me."
"That's because you're not nice to her. Be friendly for once in your life."
"No. Especially not with her. Our families are sworn enemies." I explained and Blaise laughed under his breath making me more infuriated.
"Then change the family norm. You want to know things about her to use it against her and I won't do that for you. Do your own dirty work." He shrugged before walking away from me.
Before I got to the common room I saw King talking with Snape. I hid behind one of the pillars and listened.
"Don't show that around. If it gets stolen-"
"Yes I know I'm dead. Mum and Dad said it was time I was entrusted with it." She said and I knew they were talking about the ring.
"Irresponsible of them to trust such a priceless piece to a temperament girl." Snape sighed and I grinned at his comment.
"I'm not temperamental." King said and I rolled my eyes. I could see she was temperamental even from spending an hour with her .
"Your parents have asked me to watch over you. You've been kicked out of two schools because of your temper. If you don't control how angry you get, I cannot protect you if something happens." He said before walking away.
I hid further behind the pillar so that he didn't see me, but so I could still see King. She ran her hands through her dark hair and kicked at the ground before storming off towards the common room entrance.
I followed quickly, making sure my footsteps were loud enough for her to hear. I smirked and pulled at my robes before getting her attention.
"I saw that." I grinned and she stopped in her tracks and turned to face me.
"You saw nothing you arrogant bastard." She growled.
"Oh but I did. Your little talk with Snape. I heard all of it. And I'm going to make that temper come out and have you out of here in no time at all. Mark my words." I said and changed my smirk to a glare.
Before I could comprehend the situation, King had her wand pressed to my neck and held my chest so I was pinned to the wall behind me.
"I would be scared if you weren't so short and insignificant." I laughed and she pressed the wand further against my neck.
Something in me was infact scared of what she could do. But there was no way she was seeing that.
"You don't know me. You will never know me. Stay out of my way." She said and gave my chest one last shove before entering the common room.
She was too fiery for her own good.
She'll be expelled before she knows it and I would be thrilled when it happened.
No one spoke to me and treated me that way and got away with it and she would be no different. She was a stupid girl with no real power over me. The only advantage she had was that she wasn't scared by me, not in the slightest. It would take something big to get her back. Perhaps a curse or a transfiguration 'accident'.
Whatever I came up with she would be sorry that she ever tried to threaten me.
