Once More With Feeling ZAINTSEE AU

Weird but ok...

Saint woke up in Zee's arms as usual, memories of their kisses yesterday flew through his mind and Saint would be lying if he said he wasn't ever so slightly freaking out. Would Zee be expecting kisses all the time now? Saint wouldn't mind that, their gentle kisses made him all gooey inside.

But what if Zee wanted more heated kisses? What if he wanted more than just kisses? Saint hadn't thought about anything like that in a long time if he was honest, it had been months since he and Matt had been intimate and now just thinking about sex made his skin crawl. Saint knew Zee would never force anything on him but what if he wanted more than Saint could offer and their friendship was ruined? Saint didn't think he could live without Zee.

Zee lay there with Saint in his arms thinking how he would quite like to do this every morning, just have a few quiet minutes with Saint before they started their day. He knew Saint was awake as he could feel him getting more and more tense in his arms. "Are you ok Bunny?" He asked, gently squeezing Saint. Saint didn't answer so Zee continued. "If it's about last night then please don't worry. I really enjoyed it and don't regret it for one second but nothing has to change between us if that's what you want? What ever happens between us from now on isn't as important as making sure you're happy and comfortable with everything we do. So if you never want to kiss me again, I'll be a bit sad but it won't change our friendship or how much I care about you. I'm happy to let you have complete control of anything that happens but please know that I don't want you to force anything because keeping you in my life is more important than anything ok?"

Zee hoped he wasn't getting things wrong, he could only go by his own feelings after all. When Saint snuggled in closer and whispered "Thank you Zee." Zee's heart sang. Zee truly believed that as long as they had each other there was nothing they couldn't face. "You don't have to thank me just for loving you silly." He told Saint just as Saint's tummy rumbled. "I guess it's time for breakfast?" He said with a smile. "I'll shower first then you can shower and I'll make pancakes." And with that he headed to the bathroom, leaving Saint in bed with his thoughts.

Saint was so happy with what Zee had said, he was so grateful he could barely speak. If someone asked Saint right now to describe his perfect parter Zee would meet every single criteria, he was kind, caring, handsome and a million and one other things. But he was Saint's best friend and the thought of losing that wasn't even comprehensible to Saint so again Zee was being the perfect man not only giving Saint the control he desperately needed right now but also letting him know that he cherished their friendship just as much as he did. "All yours!" Zee shouted. With a smile on his face Saint headed to the shower.

"Oh my God, marry me!" Saint said with a mouth full of pancakes. Zee choked on his own food then laughed after seeing Saint's panic stricken expression. "I was talking to the pancakes, ass hole!" Saint said as his cheeks went supernova. They had just finished eating when there was a knock at the door. Even though they were expecting the officer to take their statement Saint still felt his stomach drop. Zee opened the door and the officer came and sat at the table with them while Zee made them all a hot drink.

Saint decided to give his statement first just to get it out of the way as fast as possible. He got to the part were Matt was towering over him and felt tears threatening to fall, he was about to say he couldn't continue or at least needed a break when Zee took his hand and began rubbing circles in Saint's palm with his thumb. Just this small gesture gave Saint the power to finish his statement and once again he felt this overwhelming love for the man by his side.

When Zee gave his statement Saint headed to the bedroom, he couldn't listen to anymore. Zee made sure to give every detail he could remember in the hopes Matt would get the justice he so badly deserved. When he'd finished giving his statement he asked what would happen next. "We have all the witness statements so the suspect will remain in custody until a court date is set. Even when under arrest he was still making threats against Saint so there is no chance of him being granted bail. Saint may be required to attend court if Matt pleads not guilty but with all the evidence we have I can't see that happening. Hopefully the next time you hear from me will be to tell you that you guys aren't needed in court." He explained, standing up to leave. Zee saw him out and thanked him for all of his help. He really was grateful for all that he'd done for Saint and himself.

The rest of the afternoon flew by and it was time to collect Lee before they knew it. Saint psyched himself up and went with Zee to the school. Seeing Lee's beaming smile was enough to get rid of any remaining nerves he had left. "Uncle Bunny!" Lee shouted running over for a hug. "I missed you so much but Alex said I could stay at his house and his mum sometimes buys us Mc Donald's so I had to go but she didn't get us it this time. I still had fun though but I missed you." He said in a single breath making Saint grin. "What about Daddy? Didn't you miss him too?" Saint asked still smiling. "Yeah but you're my specialest so I missed you more." Lee whispered.

Zee was feeling all fuzzy at the scene in front of him. "Oh well if no one missed me I guess I'll just take myself to Mc Donald's to cheer myself up..." Zee said sighing loudly. "Wait Daddy! We love you too! Don't we Uncle Bunny?" Lee shouted as he chased after Zee, dragging Saint along behind him. "Please Daddy! Can we have Mc Donald's too?" He begged as they got in the car. "Tell him you love him too Uncle Bunny!" Lee demanded desperate for his treat. Zee and Saint were both giggling as they buckled up their seat belts. "Your Daddy knows I love him, don't worry about that baby," he said smiling. "now come on Mr, me and our baby want Mc Donalds!" Saint said looking at Zee. "Ok then, but only because I love you both." he said smiling and started the car.
