Hey, I'm Harriette Moore. I'm a hybrid, my mum is werewolf and my dad is vampire. They were mates until my mum died since it wasn't possible for a supernatural creature to become another.
This was back in 1844. My mum and dad met each other and they were mates. The elders told them they couldn't have children since vampire couldn't reproduce as they are technically dead. But that didn't stop them.
After fifteen years of them being married, my mum found out she was pregnant. They were so happy but it would end their marriage. My mum wasn't strong enough to give birth to me and survive, so her wolf did all she could to make sure her pup would make it.
In the end my dad was kicked out of the pack since he had no business there. So he took the baby girl and raised her himself. Only to have her stop growing at fifteen years old. That's when he realised his daughter was a vampire as well. Making me a hybrid.
He immediately took me to the werewolf elders not knowing what to do. He didn't trust the vampire council knowing we were associated with werewolves. Even mates had to stay away with each other so he went to the werewolf elders.
"I'm sorry, Aiden. There is nothing we can do. She's a threat to both races and will need to be killed. Both sides can't have her since she will be a danger to us all." One of them sighed.
"You can't kill my daughter. She's fifteen, literally, just a teenager. Please, there has to be something we can do." My dad begged with them.
"We're sorry Aiden. You and Maria made a beautiful child." Another sighed and held sympathy in his eyes.
I didn't know what was going on as I had never been to school. My dad taught me the basics in life, reading, writing and how to talk properly. But I had no idea what was going on.
"Take her." Just then a bunch of big buff men started walking towards me. My dad then bared his fangs and hissed at them, warning them to back off.
It was natural for anyone to protect what's theirs wether it be daughter, son, mate or normal human. Anyone would be protect their loved one at all cost. Even if that meant getting killed in the process.
My dad fought off the men then picked me up on his back. "No one will touch my daughter. Even if she is a danger I know I can keep her under control." Was all he said before using his vampire speed to leave.
When we got to our small cottage in the woods, we packed all our things. Clothes, treasures and most of all, family pictures. My mum had survived long enough to hold me which meant my dad could get a picture of us together. She died while I was in her arms but my dad never blamed me once. In fact he made it his job to raise me right as he made that promise to my mum.
As quick as we could, we got on to a boat and went to France. We didn't stay long then made our way around the world, making sure no one could get to me.
And it's stayed that way for as long as I can remember. We move country to country making sure werewolves or vampires can get me. The werewolf council then informed the vampire council and they both agreed that cross mating can't happen.
That then lead to a war by many wolves killing their vampire mates and vampires killing their werewolf ones. So wolves have mates, and vampires have ones. Both are the same thing but different names.
Then the werewolf king made it his duty to find and kill me himself. That caused me and my dad to move around more frequently, having vampire allies telling us when and where the king would be.
It's been hard but me and my dad have each other. Even though the war had ended, vampires and werewolves still hate each other and will be killed if they stayed as mates or ones.
But one day it all changes.
A/N: there will be some mature scenes in this story. Just a warning so I don't have to keep doing it. Some bits may be more in detail than others. You have been warned.
