Twenty-four

Damien POV

It's been a month and three weeks since that vampire incident. How Harriette was able to kill that vampire by herself, I don't know. At least none of us got badly hurt and could carry on.

Dustin's due date is coming up quickly and he had got bigger. His bump I strange to see on him but it's cool to feel the baby kick. Harriette is still upset that she may never get pregnant but we're still trying. The amount of times I've released inside her multiple times is crazy.

We go for it all the time, at least seven times a day. And I cum triple that and she still hasn't got pregnant. We both want a pup so bad but I've come to accept it may never happen. Harri cries late at night thinking I can't hear her.

I wish there was more I could do just to make us happy. Even if we are happy just the two of us, I want to expand that to children of our own.

I was just sat in bed waiting for my mate to wake up. I moved to cuddle up to her, only to feel something slightly wet on her. When I moved the covers up, I saw blood on the bed and on my mates lower half.

"Lobito?" I shook her. "Wake up."

"No." She whined.

"Baby you got your period. You've got to wake up so I can clean the sheets and you have a bath." I told her.

Harriette's eyes snapped open and lifted up the covers. She started crying and out her face in her hands. I grabbed her wrists and pulled my mate towards me. It didn't matter if she had blood all over her, my mate needs comforting and nothing will stop me from doing that.

"It's ok, I've got you. It'll be ok baby. Well start again when you come off." I kissed her head.

"I fucking hate this. I hate it so much." She sobbed.

"I know baby. No matter how long it takes though, remember. I'll be by your side no matter what. And when I do get you pregnant we will be so happy. I know for a fact we'll have a pup one day." I held her tightly to my chest.

"Come on, let me run you a bubble bath then get you cleaned up." I picked her up and took her into the bathroom.

Once the tub was full, I carefully put my baby in the water. She was still crying and it made me feel bad. I know it was due to that accident she had but I can't help but blame myself as well.

"Baby don't blame yourself. If anything you should blame me. I begged Shelby, Derek and my dad to take me out that day." Harriette stated.

"It's none of our faults. We just have to keep trying." I bent down to kiss her before going back to the room.

I took off all the bedding and replaced it with clean ones. I took the dirty ones to the kitchen and put it all in the washing machine. Thank god everyone was out otherwise they would have seen me naked.

"Hey." I heard Ryker and Dustin come in.

"Hey. Harri's in the bath at the moment. Let me go clean up then we'll be out." I told them. The couple sat down while I went back to the room.

It wasn't the first time them two have seen me naked, and I'm sure it won't be the last. When I got back to the room, I went into the bathroom and sat down. Immediately I pulled my mate to me, so her back was on my chest.

"I love you, and I hope that you'll never leave me because of this." Harriette sniffled.

"I love you to. I will never leave you for something that wasn't anyone's fault. Baby if even we can't reproduce, then I'll gladly give the throne to someone else when the time comes. None of it matters to me other than you. Trust me Harri, I will never leave you." I kissed her softly and passionately.

She moved to face me to wrap her arms around my neck. My hands held on to her hips and pulled her down on to me. I didn't even realise that my hard on had entered her until my mate started moaning.

Once more wont hurt. With a lot of laughter and kissing, we both released then cleaned ourselves. When we were dried and dressed, we went out to the living room and sat with Dustin and Ryker.

"Hey babes. How you feeling?" Dustin grabbed hold of his best friends hand.

"I'm ok. I got my period this morning so that's great. Maybe next time though." Harriette smiled sadly. Her eyes glossed over as she tried to hold back the tears.

"You'll get one I know it." Dustin told her reassuringly. "Your mum and dad got you didn't they?" He mumbled in a whisper that I almost missed it.

"Yeah I know. Time, we just need time." She sniffled. "How are you anyway? With the baby and all?"

"Good. I can't wait until they are out. The back pain is a bitch, I've started getting braxton hicks. But it's all worth it for the outcome." Dustin rubbed his bump.

"How are you holding up?" Ryker asked me quietly while our mates spoke about the baby.

"Ok. I was just thinking that me and Harri have done it so many times and she still hasn't got pregnant. We've been doing it for over two months, at least ten times a day. I don't know what to do anymore to make her happy." I sighed.

"She is happy. Anyone can feel it and see it in her eyes that she's happy. Damien, Harri is happy with the people around her, wether that be her dad, Shelby even Derek. She is happy with me, Dustin, Toby, Tom and Jeremy. And most of all, anyone can see that she is happy with you. If you don't get a pup in let's say, fifty years then you can adopt. Or ask a witch to go a spell that makes you both even more fertile. It will happen, I can feel it." He smiled at me.

I sighed knowing he was right. Right that my mate is happy even if we don't have a pup of our own. She is happy with me and that's what counts. I love her and she loves me, I just want to share that love with a pup of our own.

One day. One day my mate will be round and have a pup. She will bare my children even if it takes us a hundred years to get one. We will try and have a pup or two. That way my mate will have everything she's ever wanted.
