Damien POV

"What's his present?" Jeremy looked at Ryker.

"Nothing much. Just a vampire from a clan coming to visit." He shrugged.

"Why don't you invite them in?" Tom scoffed.

"Because she doesn't like wolves. She has a phobia of them and when she got the scent of you guys here she stayed outside." Ryker sat down with his son on his lap.

"Well I have to go to the pack house for a bit. My dads given me a shit ton of work to do." I sighed and stood up.

We all said our goodbyes and I went outside. I shifted and started running back to the pack house. Once I got there, I put on some shorts and went inside.

All I want is Harriette.

Harriette POV

After a while of talking with Dustin, I heard the door open. Damien came out and shifted. His beautiful wolf stood there then ran off. Dustin put his hand on mine reassuringly. I gave him a small smile then we both jumped down.

When we went into the cabin, I saw Jeremy, Tom and Toby sat with Ryker. Toby and Jeremy saw me but I told them to be quiet. They both nodded slightly and smiled.

I sneakily walked up to Tom and bent down behind him on the sofa.

"I think he's depressed." Tom stated.

"I think you're right." I said in his ear. "Who are you talking about anyway?" I asked jumping over the sofa and sitting next to him.

"Well Harriette, Damien has been a little down since you've been gone. I think he's depressed but the others say he's fine and will get over it." He shrugged.

"Hmm, maybe I'll go see him. But for now I've come to see my good friends and my nephew." I told them then took Alec from his dad, Ryker.

"Hey baby boy. You've got so big since the last time I saw you." I cooed at the one year old on my lap.

Alec smiled and laughed at me. I pulled him close to me and his small arms wrapped around my neck.

"I missed you arri." He whispered.

"I missed you to." I pulled him back and smiled. "Have you been on a run today?"

"No." He whined.

"Come on, why don't we go on a run together. Maybe your dads could come as well." I smiled at him.

He nodded his head and I stood up. "Who's coming?" I looked around.

"Yeah I'll come. Then we can go to the lake at the cottage." Ryker said. All the boys stood up and we went outside.

Ryker sat with Alec until he shifted into his cute little dark brown wolf. Then we all shifted except for Dustin obviously. Then we all ran but not fast so Alec could keep up.

In the end dustin picked up the little wolf so we could all get to the cottage quickly. After a couple minutes, we got to the familiar cottage I call home.

My dads scent came from inside so I knew he was seeing Shelby and Derek.

"Hey, I'm here with Toby, Tom, Jeremy, Dustin, Ryker and Alec." I mind linked him.

"Get in here with that baby. I've missed him." My dad exclaimed. Before any of us could shift, my dad was at Dustin's side taking Alec's small wolf form in his arms.

When I shifted, Shelby gave me some clothes and Derek gave the boys some shorts. My dad was to busy cooing at Alec he didn't even say hello to the boys.

"Hey, god you look so grown up." Shelby hugged me.

"How can I look grown up?" I laughed. "I've the the same age for 136 years."

"Well I haven't seen you in over a year. You've got more mature that you look older than you are. Have you spoken to Damien yet?" She sighed.

I shook my head. "No. I don't know what to say to him. I'm sorry I didn't tell you that I'm that hybrid you hate so much and tried to kill all over the world. He tried to kill me and would have if the boys didn't stop him. Shelby what am I supposed to say to him?" I started crying.

"Maybe you could call him. Tell him your back. He's been a wreck babe. He's been here so much in your room and not leaving for days at a time. He comes in, says hello and locks himself away in your room. Dereks even worried about him and that's rare for that big lug to be worried about a wolf."

"It's true, Harri. Damien hasn't been the same since you left. He goes back to the pack house to do work then comes back here." Derek said behind me.

"Some other time then. Just not today." I sniffled and wiped my eyes as I walked away.

"They both need each other but their to stubborn to admit it." I heard Dustin say to Shelby and Derek.

"Maybe we can do something so they're in the same place at the same time." Derek suggested.

"Yes!" Dustin exclaimed. I didn't hear what they were saying after that as I was distracted by small arms around my legs.

"Hey bubba." I smiled and picked him up.

"Arri." Alec giggled at me. I chuckled and went over to the water. With my clothes on, I got in the lake and started swimming with Alec laughing.

"He's a cute one." I laughed knowing his dad was behind me.

"Definitely takes after his dad." Ryker laughed with me and his son.

"Dustin said that everyone is going to try and get me and Damien together again." I admitted.

"Well that can go either one of two ways. You do get back together and be a happy couple. Or Damien tries to kill you again. But we won't let that happen." He reassured me.

"I know. I miss him so much that there are so many times where I almost ran away from my dad to come back." I sighed.

"What stopped you?" Ryker asked.

"My dad, and the fact that Damien could kill me."
