Harriette POV

After Damien cleaned us, he got out of the bath and wrapped a towel around his waist before pulling the plug out. Once he did that, he picked me up and wrapped a towel around me.

He dried me off then put me in one my cotton bras and panties with one of his long sleeve T-shirt's and shorts. Then he laid me on the bed and slipped on boxers and shorts himself.

"Do you think you can walk?" Damien rubbed my upper arm soothingly. I hummed and nodded. He helped me to the edge and stand up. Only to have my knees buckle and fall but he caught me.

"I don't think you can." Be sighed before picking me up once again. I could feel how much he hated that he hurt me but I don't mind.

I've never felt such great pleasure from anyone so it doesn't bother me. Lexi is blocking out the pain for me while winter is working on healing me.

"Baby it's ok, really. Lexi is blocking the pain and winter is healing it. I'm fine really. Don't beat yourself up over it." I told him.

"Is that supposed to make me feel better, Harri? We've been together a day and I did that. Harri you have got bruises on you from how hard I touched you." He snapped. Damien sat me on the sofa and he sat next to me.

"I'll heal. It doesn't mat-," I started.

"I marked you Harriette." Damien stood up and yelled. I flinched back never seeing him this angry before. "It doesn't make me feel better that you'll heal, or if Lexi is blocking the pain. The marks are still there to prove what I did."

"Damien just sit down." I started crying.

"Stop changing the subject. I did that and your saying it's ok. When it's really not. You've got more than ten dark bruises on you because of me. I promised myself that I'd never harm my mate but I've broke that promise twice now. When you left a year ago and earlier today." He shouted.

I stayed quiet not knowing what to say. His anger was coming off him in waves scaring me that more and more tears fell.

"I need to go." Damien said then left the house slamming the door behind him.

Five minutes later, Dustin and the boys came in with bags. All of them had smiles on their faces but instantly fell when they saw me.

Dustin dropped the bags and used his vampire speed to get to me. He pulled me to his chest where I sobbed. This boy never let me down when I needed comforting and I'd never let him down which he knows.

"What happened?" He asked me softly once I had calmed down a bit.

"When you left, Damien got angry. When we did it he went rougher than what he usually did. Before we got in the bath he saw bruises on me. He got angry and left." I sniffled. More tears forming and falling.

"Where are the bruises?" Dustin asked.

"My arms and legs." I told him. He nodded and picked me up, taking me into my bedroom.

Dustin kicked the door shut so the boys wouldn't be able to see me. He took off the T-shirt and examined the bruises on my upper arms. Then he opened my legs touching the bruises making me wince. He muttered a quick sorry before looking.

"I can see why he's angry babes." He sighed and helped me put the T-shirt back on. "They are dark and quite big as well. More than what Ryker gives me when we do it."

"But I'll heal." I sobbed. "He didn't need to leave me."

"With bruises like these, you won't heal properly for at least three days. Even then it'll be uncomfortable to walk for about a week. Anyone can see why he got angry with himself, but he'll come back sooner or later." He assured me.

I nodded and wiped my eyes. Dustin picked me up taking me back into the living room again. The boys were on two of the sofas scattered around.

Dustin laid me down on the third sofa so i wouldn't be squished between the boys. He covered me with a blanket and gave me a bag of my favourite M&Ms.

I sadly ate them as captain America the winter soldier played. Soon enough, everyone had fallen asleep leaving me awake with my thoughts. It was late and my mate still hadn't come back yet.

Just as I was drifting back to sleep, I heard the door open and the scent of my mate. He walked over to me and pushed me back on to the sofa, laying down behind me. Wrapping his arms around me protectively.

"I'm sorry I left. Me and Tobias got angry and couldn't be around you. We saw how you got scared only adding to our anger." Damien sighed.

"Dustin said I won't heal for a couple days. Even then it'll be uncomfortable to walk." I admitted.

"I'm really sorry baby. If I could take it back I would. Go back and be more gentle with you."

"Like it said, it was worth it. You didn't have a problem until you saw the bruises. Nothing changes between us at all, and if I could have you again right now, don't doubt for a second I wouldn't jump you." I smiled.

"Don't say that." He groaned playfully. "Tobias wants you more even though he knows you're sore."

"Next week when I've fully healed. And we'll be careful because I don't want you walking out on me again." I told him.

"I know. I love you." Damien pecked my lips a couple times.

"I love you to."
