Part 26 | Reunion

JENNIE

Lisa fetched me on time. I told her to come in first so he can see Elijah.

I led her to Elijah's bedroom and she hurriedly went to her son. She kissed him.

Elijah felt Lisa and he woke up.

"My Dada!" in his sweet sleepy voice.

"Hello, young boy. Did you enjoy your day?" She asked him.

"Yes. But it would be more fun if you joined us. Can we go to the amusement park next time?" He asked Lisa.

"Of course. When do you want? But tomorrow, let's go to the beach. You like that?" So we are going to the beach tomorrow.

Elijah nodded.

"Can I borrow your Mom tonight?" She asked permission from Elijah.

"Yeah, you can have her anytime you want, Da." Oh boy. My son is giving me away. I just chuckled.

"Are you giving me away, Eli?" I teased him and he just laughed.

"Lisa carried him so he can eat his dinner with Aunt Dara and Seulgi." I noticed he really clings to Lisa. Like he's more sweeter everytime Lisa's around.

We left the house already. I noticed Lisa is a bit nervous.

"Hey, relax. They surely miss you. But you know, it's been 5 years? It's normal you'll have this little awkwardness at first. But I got you." I told her and she nodded.

Jisoo and Jimin booked the veranda part of the restaurant we're in. They were all surprised seeing Lisa and I arrived together.

"Wait. Did you two get back together without us knowing?" Chanyeol asked. I shook my head. Lisa is just at the corner freezing.

Jimin ran to her and hugged her. Chanyeol did too. After a few breathes, Rosé and Jisoo did too.

I held her hand and let her sit beside me.

They asked a lot of questions to Lisa. She answered them honestly.

We had a few drinks after our dinner. Finally, they all reconciled with Lisa. They surely missed her and she as well missed them too. We shared tears and laughter during our reunion. You know, they say, sometimes you don't have to apologize and it's understandable already. That's what true friends are for.

It's time to go home. We need to drop Rosé first because her car is still on the auto shop for some repair.

"Jen, you want to go to my house? I want you to see it and have some thoughts." She asked me and waited for my answer. It's still a bit awkward between us. But I think it's about time to talk.

"Hmmm. Okay. Actually I am still paid for this night." I said and laughed. She just smiled.

We arrived at her house and it is really nice and comfy. But she still asked me if how can we make her interiors better. So, I told her my ideas and she noted it.

She asked me if I want a drink and I nodded. We had a few scotch. We're just actually quiet while we drink in her living room.

"Jennie." She called me and I lifted my head to look at her. Then she sat beside me.

"I really don't know where to start. I know what I did was really unforgivable. Jen, I really regret what I did. I am sorry for all the pain I have caused." She said. She's anxious. Later I found out she's kneeling between my legs already. I can see in Lisa's eyes the regrets and pain.
