Part 14 | Royal Blessing and Blackpeppers

For sure Jennie will look for me when she wakes up. Sorry babe. I have to follow the tradition.

Last night, when we arrived at home, I introduced Jennie to my Mom. I am glad that both of them met even if my mother is just inside the urn at my Uncle's place. When Jennie fell asleep already, I went downstairs and found Aunt and Uncle in the living room. I'm surprised they're still awake by that time.

"Lisa, come over here, dear." My Aunt saw me and invited me to join them.

"Are you sure of Jennie? How long already the two of you are dating?" My Uncle asked.

"Yes, uncle. Not yet that long, I feel like I have known her all my life. I grew up doubting the world, but Jennie, my relationship with her is the only thing I am sure of.''I answered and they both nodded.

"I am so happy that you found her, Lisa. Tomorrow morning let's have a ceremony. We will conduct a royal blessing for both of you. You know, it's our family's tradition." My eyes widened when I heard it from the King. This just means, they want Jennie for me.

"Thanks Uncle! I really appreciate it. I promise I will take care of her whatever happens." I assured them and they smiled.

I first arrived at the Royal Palace together with my Uncle. Bam will drive Aunt and Jennie going here in a bit.

I have already prepared myself with my royal wardrobe. I can't wait to see Jennie on hers.

The moment they arrive, I couldn't control my smile seeing my love on a traditional Thai dress and a headdress.

The venue at the palace is surrounded by our clan and some monks. The head monk and my Uncle will be the one to bless us.

I went towards Jennie, held our hand as we walk towards the blessing ground.

"Baby, what is this? Are we getting married?" Jennie asked with her shaky voice.

"Love, relax. Not yet. Why? Do you want to get married already? Just tell me and I am very much willing to take you as my wife right here, right now." I asked and just laughed at her.

"Crazy. I am curious. What is happening?" She is clueless.

"This is a tradition. Once the royal family proves that one of us, from the royal clan, is sure about our companion, they will conduct a royal blessing for the couple. So, this is it." I told her and I winked. I smiled seeing Jennie's excitement and surprised reaction.

God. My girlfriend is so pretty on Thai dress. She belongs to me.

We walked towards our Uncle and as soon as we reach the blessing ground, we both kneeled. The ceremony started and the Royal King blessed us with guidance, abundance, happy married life in the future and good health as we grow old.

After the ceremony, my family also held a food festival for Jennie and I inside the palace. If you could only see my girlfriend eating those Thai foods right now. If I decide to record this and post on Youtube, no other mukbang videos can top what this beautiful girl is doing. How can she be so pretty with food on her mouth while her dumpling cheeks are blowing up?

"Jen, I wonder, do my Uncle and Aunt and these traditional clan here imagine how we make love?" I asked Jennie. I don't know why it crossed my mind.

"My god, Lisa. What are you thinking?! We're in a traditional Thai celebration and you're being kinky. Goodness, love!" Jennie couldn't believe and almost choked when she heard what I said. I just smiled at her and kissed her forehead.

"I love you, Jen. I really hope you'll marry me someday here in Thailand." I told her seriously.

"I love you too! But will you still marry me even if I get fat? I mean, look how I eat Thai foods." I laughed. Jesus Jennie.

"Even if your body would turn five times your figure now, I will still marry you." I told her and she smiled.

After a week of vacation in Thailand, Jennie and I are back in Seoul for my graduation.

I didn't invite my father. But I am glad that my sibling Nayeon, Hanbin and my stepmother got to attend even if I didn't tell them.

Jennie and my stepmother were there to accompany me on stage when I received my honor medal and grad certificate. Ahhhhhh! After 5 years in college, I survived!

I chose to celebrate at home. Mom and my siblings agreed with me to come with us. Jennie and I prepared foods for us to celebrate. Rosé, Jisoo, Jimin and Chanyeol also arrived and had a drink with us at home after they celebrated with their families. I found out that Jennie was the one who invited Nayeon on my graduation. I didn't know they're talking.

After the celebration, I was a bit drunk and Jennie as well. There I asked Jennie if how did she and Nayeon started talking. I am drunk but I am still on my senses. So I grabbed this opportunity to ask her.

We settled in bed while I am hugging her. "Baby, how did you and Nayeon knew each other?" I asked her.

"Hmmm. How do I start?" She paused for a while. I notice she's panting. "Okay. Two months ago, I receive a lot of messages warning me not to go to this place or not to pass by this street." I pulled my elf from lying and sat on bed. She did too. "Lisa, promise me, you won't carry your ass to your father when I tell you this.". I just stared at her.

"He's---he has been planning something with my life, but he couldn't succeed because you're always getting in the way." She said and I notice tears falling from her eyes.

"Jennie, why didn't you tell me about this the moment you discovered?" My anger is starting to rise as well as my voice.

"Nayeon and Hanbin are protecting me. We decided not to tell you so you can concentrate on your studies. And I know you might do something to your father when you find out and I don't want that to happen. I want you and your father to reconcile when the perfect time comes. Baby, I am sorry. Please don't get mad at me." Jennie said crying while I stood up and brought myself to the terrace of our room to get some air.

Jennie walked towards me and hugged me from the back.

"I am sorry, Love. Please. Don't do anything bad to your father." She's begging.

"What if she does something to you? Jennie, I can't live without you. And I won't let anyone, even my father hurt you. Do you get me? I love you, Jennie and I will protect you at all cost!" I said in my hurting voice, but by this time I made sure I am speaking softly. I noticed Jennie was scared when I raised my voice a while ago.

I turned to face her and cupped her face."I am sorry for raising my voice a while ago, Jen. I didn't mean to scare you. I am really sorry, baby. I promise, I will protect you. I will never let anyone hurt you. Okay?" She nodded. I wiped her tears and hugged her.
