As I ran out through the white, wooden door and onto the jade grass, all I could think was run. Run far, far away and try my best not to get caught.
"I know you're out there!" The man yelled from the porch as I ducked behind an old Oak tree. I could feel the warm, red liquid trickling down my neck. I suddenly wish Daniel were here, as he knew everything there was to know about those dark, blood sucking demons. I heard footsteps reaching closer to the tree as my heart beats sped up. All I could do was pray that he didnt find me. Or I, Would be his next victim. The tension in me rose as the steps that crunched above the leaves grew closer. I gasped when I felt a hand grab my left shoulder.
"Hey." said a familiar voice. I looked up to see Daniel standing over me. I jumped to my feet and hugged him tightly.
"Oh my god, Angie. What happened?" He asked in a scared tone with a worried look on his face. He took one too good look at my neck, rushed me into the car and drove. I blacked out as we entered the building.
