chapter 47: Orsune Krannic and Jacques Schnee

Meanwhile

teams RWBY JNR and the Ace ops had finished their first mission for Atlas

Blake: What?

Yang: Sorry, just not used to the hair cut

Blake: is it bad?

Yang: opposite. I like it Blake

Then Orsune's shuttle arrives

Ironwood: can i get the team leaders over

Ruby, Jaune and Qrow meet up with Ironwood while he is chatting with Krannic

Ironwood: thanks Orsune

Orsune: my pleasure

Then Ruby sees a younger version of Orsune

Ruby: Josh?

He turns to his friend

Josh: Hey there Ruby

Jaune: liking the new look, bud

Josh: Thanks Jaune

Qrow: any new features?

Josh: not really, uncle

The three joined Ironwood while Josh joined his father and Edelgard and a SDC shuttle arrived

Josh: this might be an issue, Edel

Edelgard: that Schnee thinks that business is money but there's more than that

Josh: more than what?

Orsune: he's running for a seat on the council of Atlas...

Edelgard: and if that were to happen Ironwood would be forced to dismiss the blockade.

Josh: I thought that Ironwood is doing that to protect his kingdom.

Orsune: all the worthwhile for the Adrestian Empire armada to be here. And we'll have to step in.

Jacques was very angry about the "nonsensical embargo" and was constantly telling Ironwood off about taking over private property

Orsune: And he has every right to do so, Schnee.

Jacques: You but out, Krannic!

Josh: you dare tell my father off like that?!

Jacques: (arrogant) you must be his son.

Edelgard: Josh, just ignore him.

Josh: ok.

Then he suddenly turned around and punched Jacques making everyone surprised

Jacques: Apologise right now.

Orsune: or what? You had that coming for a long time, Schnee.

Josh: and that's for trying to control my best friends!

Ironwood: ok that's enough, Josh

Josh: sorry General.

Ironwood: don't be.

Balthus: remind me not to get him angry.

Hubert: same.

Felix: how did he become aggressive to begin with?

Alice explains to the boys what happened

Hubert: that's a lot to take in...

Alice: i know.

Jacques left grumbling to himself as Winter arrived

Weiss: oh now you finally arrived Winter. You just missed father.

Winter: i wouldn't excalty miss him.

Ashe: and you just missed the show too.

Winter: what show?

Ashe: Josh literary clobbered him.

Winter: Huh?! Why?

Weiss explains

Winter: why am I not surprised.

Then suddenly Penny came out of nowhere

Penny: Congratulations!

Everyone but Ironwood, Winter and some members of the Black Eagle Strike Force fell

Penny: oh. Have we not started?

Hubert:( pinching the bridge of his nose) no penny. We've not started.

Ruby: started what?

Later

Ironwood has given a speech while both Edelgard and Winter slightly stopped an excited Penny from jumping on the spot

Winter: you're getting your huntsman and huntress licences today.

Then penny pressed on a tablet size scroll and the students have officially been granted their licences

Ironwood: enjoy the cake.

He leaves

While the others are enjoying the cake. Nora had two slices while Ruby was staring at her licence

Edelgard: i know that you've been fighting for so long, Ruby.

Ruby: hello, your highness.

Edelgard: please, Ruby. Just call me Edelgard like you use to back at Beacon or Edel like Josh.

Ruby: ok Edelgard.

Edelgard: I've heard that Josh didn't kill Cinder.

Ruby: i was surprised about that too. He does have a bad cut on his face.

Edelgard: I've noticed about that.

Then the ace ops arrived with a new addition to the team

Sienna: im still not sure about these colours, Marrow.

Marrow: don't worry about them.

Elm: looks like the kids had received their licences.

Clover gathers Teams RWBY and JNR and explains about their top priority and missions while in Atlas

At the Schnee Mansion

Jacques meets an individual who tells him that he can win the election with his help
