Chapter 17: rail battle

Once Oobleck, JACE and RWBY got on the train

Josh: we managed to get on-board Just in the nick on time too.

Ashe notices a lot of White Fang soldiers

Ashe: we've got company!

WF Soldier: get them!

Josh opens a rail car

Josh: Professor?

Oobleck: doctor.

Josh: sorry, but do I spy a bomb?

Edelgard: A What?!

The group steps back

Oobleck: Blake detach the caboose, it'll kill us all!

Blake: will do.

As Blake was about to detach the car it unlocks itself

Blake: huh?! (calls up) it detached itself.

Constance: WHAT?!

Oobleck: well I don't expect them (explosion) easy on us

Grimm enter the train tunnel

Oobleck: oh dear...

Alice: that's not good

Ruby: um never is this

Weiss: another bomb?!

Oobleck: no, no, no, (runs across the rooftops of the railcars) They All Have Bombs!

Josh: he really doesn't want us on the train

Another car detaches and explodes

Josh: Ashe, Alice, Constance and Edelgard. Find away to stop the train

Oobleck: Yang, Weiss and Blake go with them

Ruby: what about us?

Oobleck: we are going to stop this train

Josh: Ashe, Wait a minute

Ashe: what's up?

He hands Ashe one of his swords

Josh: here.

Ashe: are you sure?

Josh: you want to fight with Weiss? Then show her what you can do with a sword as well as a bow.

Ashe: will do.

Weiss: what was that about?

Ashe: you'll be able to see a different side of me today

Weiss: cool

As the seven of them went inside the rail cars they were stopped by the same multi coloured haired girl from before

Yang: you guys go on this one's mine.

Constance: you'll need help with her.

The others go

Alice: be careful, Constance.

Constance: will do.

Yang and Constance starts fighting the multi colour haired

with the others they've encountered a muscled White Fang member with a chainsword

Weiss: Ashe and I'll deal with him.

Edelgard: don't forget about using using Josh's sword, Ashe.

Ashe: will do, Edelgard.

Blake: Come on, Edelgard and Alice!

Alice, Edelgard and Blake continue to find Roman

WFM: finally, I get to kill a Schnee.

Weiss: don't underestimate me or my boyfriend.

he chuckles

Outside

Oobleck, Josh, Ruby and Zwei

Oobleck: we've got a problem!

Josh: oh bother. They look like the that both the Tullamarine or the first order walkers

Ruby: Walkers?

Oobleck: they're not.

Oobleck drinks from his drink and transforms it into a flame thrower

Zwei: woof.

Oobleck launches Zwei right into the white fang paladins

with Yang and Constance

The girl has gotten the upper hand against Yang

Constance: Yang!

Constance draws her sword from her umbrella and blocks the shorter girl's attack then she kicked her to the side just as the girl was about to stab Yang a masked woman appeared out of nowhere Constance sees her and the girl retreated

Constance: who are you?

The masked woman didn't say anything

Constance: Are you Raven by any chance?

Woman: how do you know my name?

Constance: Josh told me.

The woman sighs when she mentioned Josh

Raven: (removes her mask) that's right. Josh is my son.

Constance: what about Cinder?

Raven: Cinder is my stepdaughter.

Constance realise that Cinder is the same as Josh

Raven: When you see him.  Can you tell him that I said hi?

Constance: sure thing, it's been an honour to meet you.

Raven leaves through a portal yang comes around

Constance: are you ok?

Yang: yea thanks, Constance.

With Weiss and Ashe

Ashe is providing cover fire while Weiss using her glyphs and landing strikes on the muscled white Fang soldier

WFS: come here princess. (grabs Weiss in the face)

Ashe: Weiss! (Draws sword) Let her go!

As he draws the sword Josh had gave him and kicked the White Fang soldier making him to let go of Weiss

Ashe runs to her side and checks if she was ok

With Blake, Alice and Edelgard

They were fighting Roman

Roman: can i ask you something?

Blake: what is it?

Roman: do you remember that you asked the white fang at the docks why they were aiding me. Then why are you fighting alongside humans?

Blake: because they're my friends.

Edelgard knocks him out while Alice was trying to apply the brakes but not budging

Alice: (hits console) damn it! it's no use.

then Weiss and Ashe appeared having just finished their fight

Ashe: the brakes aren't workin?

Edelgard: not working.

Blake: how about we get topside?

Weiss: sounds good with me.

The six got top side joined by Constance,Yang, Josh and Ruby

Josh: (to Weiss) put up an ice shield Weiss.

Weiss: got it.

Weiss forms an ice shield protecting both teams when the train crashed into Vale city plaza with alarms blaring
