chapter 49: the election

With the riots are now under control.
Some Adrestian soldiers are chatting while Atlas personal lined up the rioters.

Edelgard: everything is now alright. Now get everyone go home.

Adrestian officer: yes. your majesty. You lot heard her!

Hubert: all this is because of Schnee.

Edelgard: you're not wrong.

At Atlas academy

Josh: I wonder who else is running for council.

Weiss: I think it was Robin Hill.

Ashe: Whose Robin Hill?

Weiss explains about Robin and the Happy huntresses

Josh: they sound good.

Ruby: I've met her and the happy huntress once.

Alice: I've heard about your nickname from Robin, Ruby.

Ruby scratches her head slightly embarrassed

Then Ironwood and Clover arrived

Josh: What is your orders, General?

Ironwood: you lot are been given a free night.

Blake: Really?

Clover: that's right. You guys earned it.

They were excited

Later

Winter finds Josh looking out the window in Ironwood's office

Winter: you're not joining them, Josh?

Josh: hey Winter, I'm just thinking.

Winter: Weiss told me that you've spared your sister.

Josh: even she didn't deserve mercy (grabs her hand) and I promise to protect you.

Winter: (blushes) T-Thank you.

Josh: promise me that you'll stay by my side.

Winter: i promise.

Then Ruby finds Josh while he was getting ready for his evening

Ruby: Hey, Josh. I'm going to the after party want to come?

Josh: sorry, Ruby. But I have a dinner date.

Ruby: ok.

Winter: Ready?

Josh: Ready.

The duo head to Mantle for a restaurant

Ruby,Nora, Ren and Alice head to the after party

Alice: (sounding bored) remind me again why you've talked me into going to this after party.

Ruby: Josh said that he was busy tonight.

Ren: that sounds like him.

Nora: and what's he doing tonight anyway.

Ruby: he has a dinner date.

Alice: With who?

Ruby: Winter.

Alice: after what happened to Pyrrha? He has another girlfriend?

Ruby: I know that but remember that he said that he didn't kill his sister.

Nora: yes.

Ruby: he also said that the next time that he sees her that he still won't forgive her for killing Pyrrha.

They entered the election hall

Then Alice sees a familiar face in the crowd.

Alice: Medina?

Medina: hey there guys.

Ruby: what are you doing here?

Medina: Security detail. Edelgard's orders.

Ren: wow, I thought that we won't be able to see each other again so soon.

Medina explains why she didn't joined the others when they first arrived

Ruby: so when we last saw you, you were going to join the Black Eagle Strike Force?

Medina: that's right, Ruby and can you tell Josh when you see him next?

Ruby: will do.

Then anouncement got their attention

PA: we're about neck and neck between Robin Hill and Jacques Schnee!

Medina: I just hope that he doesn't get that spot.

Alice: me too.

As the numbers of the election continue to increase and decrease under the pictures of both Jacques and Robin then Ruby spots Penny

Ruby: hey Penny.

Penny: hi Ruby and friends.

Ruby: Are you on Security as well?

Penny: that's right.

Then Alice spots a fimilar problem from before

Alice: oh no. Tryian's here.

Medina orders some security personnel to upperhanded him but it was too late when the power was cut off and he started killing the attendees of the after party when the power came back the others were shocked by the massacre and Jacques ended up winning the election

Alice: who ever did this they will pay!

Ruby: Penny?

Penny was devastated at the scene and fled

Medina: Let's give her some space..

Sienna: that would be wise.
