chapter 33: Ruby and Alice reunite (vol 4 finale)

Meanwhile back in anima

Ruby and her crew are on the road to Haven when a Scorpion faunus ambushed them until Qrow saved Ruby from his strike until a wave of flowers swept him off his feet

Faunus: Huh? (Grumbling) that was unusual.

She knew who it was

Ruby: Alice?!

Alice: this girl is under my protection. Leave now!

Faunus: oh i don't think so, Girlie. My queen wants her alive.

Qrow knew who he was talking about

Alice: (to Ruby) leave him to me, Ruby. We'll catch up soon.

Qrow: be careful, Alice. He's dangerous.

Alice: trust me, Qrow. I've dealt with worse then this guy. (Turns to the Faunus) who are you?

Faunus: i'm called Tryian.

The faunus introduces himself with a bow

Alice drew her sword and the two clashed

Tryian: Your good.

Alice: thank you. Your not so bad yourself.

Then Tryian went for her eye but she got hit in the leg by his weapon

Ruby: Alice!

She went after him and sliced his tail before he could kill Alice

Later

Ruby and the others had a much needed talk with Qrow about the maidens and the relics on the way to mistral

Alice: no wonder that Josh wasn't his usual happy self.

Qrow knew what she meant

Ruby: I thought i saw you earlier back in another town.

Alice: I've been following you four since you've left Patch.

Jaune: back then!?

Alice: yep.

Ren: so what's happened with the rest of team JACE?

Alice: after losing his girlfriend. Josh went with his mother to her camp.

Qrow: he went to Raven's camp?

Alice: that's what I've said. Ashe went after Weiss in Atlas while Edelgard and Constance returned to Garreg Mach. (To Ruby) I've heard that Blake ran off.

Ruby: that's right.

Jaune: so what happened with Josh's sister?

Alice: after he woke up he told myself, Annie and his mother that he mortally wounded her.

Qrow: how exactly?

All the other eagerly waited for her answer as she takes a deep breath

Alice: are you sure you want to tell you?

All: yes.

Alice: ok then. Josh cut her entire arm (pointing from her shoulder to her fingertips)

Ruby remembers this

Jaune: that is gruesome.

Ruby: did Josh say that he wouldn't forgive me for his arm?

Alice: he didn't say anything about not forgiving you, Ruby. It wasn't your fault that he lost an arm.

She assures Ruby by putting her hand on Ruby's shoulder

Alice: It's his sister that he won't forgive.

Jaune, Nora and Ren knew what she meant

Ren: so are you coming with us to Haven Academy, Alice?

Alice: that's the plan, Ren.

Ruby was excited

Elsewhere

Fran: are you going to Haven Academy, Josh?

Josh: I've haven't given much thought yet.

Vernal: well I think that both myself and your mother would love to have you stay for a little while longer, Josh.

Josh gets up and grabs Vernal by the hand and she notice that he was looking out at the sunset

Vernal:What is wrong?

Josh: I've made my choice and I'm going to Haven Academy.

Vernal: (looking down) oh...

Josh: but i will not be going by myself.

Vernal: i'm not ready to head back there.

Josh: but you're the spring maiden.

Vernal: I'll have a think.

Josh: ok.

In mistral

Ruby starts writing a letter back to Patch while her friends are exploring the city. Ashe and Weiss leaves Atlas after her falling out with her father. Yang is on a boat with her bike. While Atalante is training hard, Blake finds an old white fang flag.

On board the Queen Mary 2

Two people are meeting with the Prime

JHP: Roman and Neo. We need you to go and convince Sienna Khan to join us.

Roman: you can count on us.

The duo leave until neo stops

Neo: is there anything else?

JHP: yes. Make sure that you mention Erwin's father.

Neo: considered it done.

She leaves his office

Back at Raven's camp the next morning

Josh snaps his fingers and Fran actives her semblance to project a copy of his sister mortality wounded. His arm actives a arm cannon. Aims it at the copy and fires instantly destroying it.

Josh: with this: I will have vengeance.
