Jacques Schnee is surrounded by the council, General Ironwood, Edelgard, Winter, Ashe, Weiss, Josh, Sheyta and Alice
Josh: tell us why you wanted the seat so badly, Jacques.
Jacques: the reason why is so my business will go back to normal!
Edelgard: WHAT?! Someone hold me back.
Josh and Alice hold her back
Edelgard: let me at him! I want to kill him!
Alice: Edelgard. Please calm down
Edelgard calms down and leaves
Josh: Sheyta. Can you go with her?
Sheyta: sure.
Weiss: I'll go too.
Sheyta and Weiss follow her
Josh: Jacques. That is the stupidest reason I have ever heard!
Then Jacques stands and gets into his face
Jacques: This embargo is crippling my business!
Josh: all you think is your "business". When you've got the council seat to vote for what's best for Atlas.
Then Ironwood and the rest receive messages
Alice: what is it?
Blake: Mantle is without heating.
Josh: how?
They all turn to Jacques
Jacques: you have to believe me i didn't know what he had planned.
Winter: you are going to shut up and turn the heating back on.
Jacques: I've uh been told that we can't get in.
Josh paces back and forth with something on his mind and Alice notices it
Alice: something on your mind?
Josh: hmm? Oh sorry just thinking.
Ironwood: about what?
Josh: about how my father would react to me telling him about Cinder. But I know that now is the time.
He leaves them
Alice: would you like to join him, Winter?
Winter: yea.
Alice and Winter follows him when he calls his father
Elsewhere
Orsune had just finished with the meeting when he received a call
Josh: father.
Orsune: ah Josh. What's wrong?
Josh: are you alone?
Orsune: yes. Why?
Josh: it's about Cinder.
Orsune: what about her?
Josh explains about the attack at Beacon
Orsune: thank you for telling me, Josh.
He turns off his communications
Orsune: this is more serious than I thought.
Hubert: I've heard from Edelgard about it too.
Orsune: if Ironwood thinks that martial law in Mantle is a good idea. He's wrong.
Hubert: I've spoken with Edelgard if he was planning it. We'll have a big problem.
At the Schnee mansion
Edelgard was thinking then Team RWBY, Penny and the Ace ops ran past them
Weiss: Ruby. What's wrong?
Ruby: grimm has invaded Mantle
Weiss joins her team
Edelgard: Ruby wait
Ruby: what's wrong?
Edelgard hands her an circular scroll and continues with her team
Sheyta: I hope that everything will be ok
Edelgard: me too
Sheyta: what happens if it doesn't?
Edelgard: if Ironwood doesn't stop going down this path. He'll have a massive problem on his hands
Sheyta: i hope that it won't come to that
Edelgard: same
