chapter 45: Atlas ( vol 7)

Last time

Josh and his friends are on a transport. A squad of fighters fly past the transport only to become small beside an armada of ships

Now:

Josh: I'm totally confused

Weiss: why is there Tullamarine warships here

Petra: those aren't Tullamarine warships

She points to a fimilar emblem of a two headed eagle on the side of one of the ships

Ashe: that's the Adrestaein Empire

Yang: who?

Josh Explains about Edelgard's homeland

Dispatch: transport 5-10. We've been expecting you

Petra: This is Petra, request permission to land on the command ship

Dispatch: request granted. The commandship is about 3 ships from the right

Petra: thank you

Weiss: so what does this ship look like?

Ashe: remember the Queen Mary 2?

Weiss: yea

Ashe smiles as a large shadow covers the transport revealing an execution class

The transport lands and the doors open revealing entire army with a couple of people one a woman with orange hair and a man with blue hair

Woman: i can't believe it's been a long time, Casper

Caspar: you're telling me, Annette

Josh, Ashe and Petra leave the transport

Ashe: are you sure that you don't want to come and meet our friends?

Weiss: yea, besides we need to check on Mantle

Ashe: ok but be careful

Weiss: will do

The two kissed and the transport leaves for mantle

They joined Annette and Caspar

On the bridge

Caspar was explaining about why the fleet is nose to nose with the fleet of Atlas while Annette was trying to get Ashe to introduce her to Weiss until the alarm went off

Caspar: what are you two doing?

Josh: what does it look like?

They ran to the hanger but Josh stopped

Ashe: Josh?

Josh: Huh? Oh sorry

Ashe: it's fine

Josh: anyho let's help our friends

In mantle

Team RWBY and the others are fighting against a grimm force until a couple of missiles from above destroyed a few grimm

The blackbird lands Ashe jumped out letting it transform back into Josh

Weiss: Guys!

Ashe: sorry about startling you

Ruby: it's fine

Then a couple of other grimm came out of nowhere as they were about to slash at them a green laser instantly kills them and the source lands revealing to be Penny

Ruby: Penny?

Man: why don't you say hello dear?

Penny does

Ashe: it's great to see you, Galen

Galen: likewise

After they part ways the group were upperhanded by the Ace Ops

Girl: uh Clover?

Clover: yes Harriet.

Harriet: Orsune will not be happy about arresting his son.

He realises what she meant

Clover: still he is needed to come to Atlas academy

Harriet: and the white fang leader?

Josh: oh no you don't. Either she comes with us or she walks free.

Sienna: AND that's former white fang leader to you!

Clover: ok. She goes with them besides she is Josh's godmother.

A dog faunus approaches Josh

Faunus: you're Orsune's son, right?

Josh: that's right.

Faunus: the names Marrow. I owe everything to him and I hope that we'll get along well.

Josh: same. My name is Josh Erwin.

The group but Josh and Ashe were put into a police transport and as it leaves an shuttle lands with an angry girl storming down the ramp following an other trying to calm her down

Girl: Do you have any idea what you try to do?!

Girl 2: come on Ingrid. I'm sure that Josh was trying to protect the citizens when the grimm attacked

Ingrid: don't you try to defend him, Leonie

Leonie: i'm not but his friends need some help

Josh: can you please not talk about me wh- (slap) ok I think I deserved that

Leonie: are you going to explain to her highness about why there is an mark?

Josh: it's fine, Leonie.

Then Ingrid then gives him a hug

Ingrid: it's amazing to see you again, Josh

Leonie: shall we join your friends?

Ashe: lets

They board the shuttle and leaves for Atlas academy
