chapter 8: Black and Blue (vol 1 finale)

Note: this is the chapter of we see Josh's entire team spring into action

Josh leaves Blake so that she needed some time alone

Asher: so what's happened with Blake?

Josh: i need to tell you guys something but it needs to remain a secret

Edelgard: ok then, what is it?

Josh: I've just found out that Blake is a faunus.

Constance: huh. It's no wonder her bow twitched.

Ashe: did she say anything else?

Josh takes a deep breath

Josh: she was a member of the White fang

His team was shocked to hear that

The next morning

Ruby asked Josh if he and his team help search for Blake and they agreed soon they got to Vale city the group split up

Asher: I wonder where she is

Edelgard came with an idea

Edelgard: Let's think for a minute and imagine what she would do if one of us was a faunus and ran off

The team think for minute until

Constance: i got it. If I was one I would stake out at the docks and try to steal a crate of dust

Josh: that's right! We were at the docks the other day and Ashe noticed a dust company crate there

Ashe: really?

Edelgard: how big?

Josh: my guess is huge, so Let's go

The team head towards the docks

Josh: ok team. I'm going to give you each an ear piece radio so we can keep in contact. Let's split and remember our training

ACE: Yes sir!

The team split up

With Blake and her friend (who is named Sun)

Sun: did I miss anything?

Blake: not really, they're just sitting there

Sun:hey I stole you some food (offers an apple)

Blake: do you break the law without a second thought?

Sun:weren't you in a Cult or something?

Blake gets cross

Sun: too soon?

With Edelgard

Edelgard: This is a complete waste of time, Josh

Josh: (over the radio) I know but I think we need to be patient.

Edelgard: ok

Then a sound of turbines draws her attention. Edelgard looks through a set of visors

Edelgard: Are you guys seeing this?

Josh: (over the radio) sure am

Ashe: (over the radio) I take it that these are the white fang fellows that Blake mentioned the other day?

Constance: (over radio) sure looks like it

Edelgard hears a familiar voice

?:hey! What's taking you so long?

Edelgard: oh no

Ashe: (over radio) it's that guy who messed with us the other night

Josh: (over radio) i've heard that his name is Roman Torchwick

Edelgard: that's the one

Roman: no you idiot it's not a leash

Edelgard notices Blake

Edelgard:uh oh

Josh: (over radio) what is it?

Edelgard: it's Blake

Blake takes her bow off

Blake: brothers of the White Fang, why are you aiding this scum?

Roman: the White Fang and I are on an little venture together

Blake: tell me what it is or I'll put a stop to it

Edelgard: you weren't wrong about, Blake

Ashe: (over radio) i thought that you were pulling our legs

Constance: (Over radio) what are your orders, Josh?

Josh: (over radio) take them out

As he gives the order Edelgard grabs her ax and transforms it into a shotgun and fires it at one of the White Fang members while Ashe cover fires.

Roman:I remember you fr-

Roman was cut off by Constance with her umbrella while Josh walked through and drawing his two swords a white fang soldier ran towards him attempts to cut him down Josh blocks the attack with ease and knocks him out with the back of one of his swords

Josh: (with his sword under Roman's chin) I've heard that you tried to kill two of my team mates.

Roman glups as Josh pulls his sword away

Josh: I'm not going to kill you, not yet

Roman sighs in relive

Edelgard: we've cleaned up here

Josh: (to Edelgard) good work, Edelgard

Ashe: Aren't you going to kill him?

Josh: i don't think his ally would be happy with that. Besides I think we'll see him again (to Roman) get going

Roman escapes with his life

Josh: Torchwick before you vanish if you see her, your ally.Tell her I said hi

Roman: (to himself) he must know Cinder

Back at Beacon

Ozpin was watching a live newscast

Ozpin: Hmm (he receives a message)

Qrow: the Queen has Pawns
