Alastor watched as the girl's face flushed red. "N-no, I'm okay..."

"You don't have to strip, you could just wear workout clothes. It's a really good way to exercise." Angel let out a chuckle, amused at Charlie's embarrassment. "It's not just for money or sex, it's an art form."

The spider demon looked to Vaggie, who was still seated beside the bed. "You fucking weirdo," She said, laughing and shaking her head.

Alastor cleared his throat, calling the attention of the other Hazbins. "I am sorry to interrupt, but I do believe Charlie needs her rest. We should be leaving," The demon planted a small kiss on the Charlie's head. "I will be back tomorrow to check on you."

"Do you have to leave? I could request another bed or something..." She whimpered. Alastor smiled as he stood, smoothing her sheets. "I'm sorry, I have things I need to take care of. I promise I will come back as soon as I can."

The demon took one last look at her. He felt sadness wash over him at the thought of leaving her alone, but he knew he needed to concoct a plan to defeat Monster.

Alastor turned away, his smile fading entirely. "Goodnight, mon cher," He whispered. As he walked out of the hospital room, he ignored the stares from the other Hazbins.

In the vehicle, Alastor remained silent as Vaggie and Angel Dust begged him to talk. "Please, Alastor, tell us what happened. Why...why did that shadow-" Vaggie was cut off by a furious glare, and she ceased speaking.

"Dude, you have GOT to tell us these things. That thing...I've..." Angel Dust trailed off, lost in thought. The spider demon brought one of several limbs to his chin. He suddenly bounced up, his eyes wide in horror. "Shit. I've seen something like it before."

Alastor looked to him, slightly interested. "Go on," he pushed. "Valentino had a...a friend. He...goddammit...I can't remember his name...FUCK!" Angel held his head in his hands. "It was somethin' stupid like...Dee Sire-" 'Shit. Didn't think he'd remember me.'

"Desire? You've come into contact with him?" Alastor asked. He sat up straight, his full attention on the other demon. 'It was so long ago...' "Over a century ago. But that's not important. He was...like...a drug. He told me all this crazy shit, made me DO all this crazy shit."

Angel stared at his feet, staying still save for the occasional rocking caused by the driving. "Well, this is certainly good timing. Desire himself has been pestering me all day, and I am sure he has some apologies to give." Alastor felt his grin return as a frustrated sigh filled his head.
