I let you in and let go of the hate

Monster watched as the hospital attendants tried to revive the princess. Their efforts were in vain, she was gone. His work was finally done.

All those years chasing his goals, only for them to gain sudden speed and zoom around the corner. He had done it, he had finally proven to Healing what he was capable of. She would have had no choice but to accept him again with open arms.

Monster let hate fuel him for centuries, but hate will soon burn out. Like a twig on fire, he slowly lost ambition. But when Healing helped him, he found a new reason.

It was forbidden. But he didn't give a damn.

Straightening his bowtie, he left the room undetected. He strided down the halls and found himself outside the large building. The sun had just risen to welcome a new day, the first rays blinding and warm.

Monster walked slowly, his head hung slightly as he made his way to the Rip. It had been so long since he had come to his home, he was banished centuries ago. 'Damn Hope,' he muttered under his breath.

The Rip, his only rite of passage to visit the Thoughts, pulsated as bright white light shone through. Monster took a deep breath, and stepped through to the other dimension.

"Jealousy is back!" "Is that who I think it is?" Whispers surrounded him as his curious counterparts spied him. He ignored them, as his eyes were set ahead to the shadow in the center.

Healing turned around to face him, her face falling in shock. She was just how he had remembered her, long silver tinted hair that flowed and waved with precision, bright eyes with elegantly thin lashes. The shadow was thin and small, a white strapless sundress fell down to her ankles.

Exactly how he remembered her.

"J-Jealousy?" She murmured, her eyes still locked on him. Healing looked to the ground and clenched her fists as Monster stood, maybe ten feet, away. "You shouldn't be here."

Monster stepped closer, his grin widening. "Reine, you didn't miss me?" The shadow flinched at mention of her real name. "Don't call me Reine, you bastard." "Oh, come on Rey. Don't be so uptight."

"Don't call me that either! We are OVER, you hear me?! Get the fuck away from me!" Monster stepped back, surprised by her sudden outburst. "You did your damage! How could you want even more?" Healing screamed, tears running down her cheeks and dripping to the smooth floor.

The shadow looked around at the concerned Thoughts. "Healing, what...what happened to the rest of us?" The Thoughts faded at their edges, their eyes dull and weak.

"You did this. You've done enough, go away. You aren't welcome here."
