Alastor couldn't believe she would joke about something so painful. She may not have realized it, but Charlie meant more to him than his own existence. Losing her...he couldn't stand to think of what he would do next. Most likely rip himself apart until all that remained was his shattered heart.

"S-sorry, Al. I didn't know how bad this was for you." "It's alright, dear. Just...try to be more careful with how you say these things." Charlie turned to her father again. "So Alastor got really mad, so mad he stopped smiling for the first time since he came to the hotel. Only, like, a week ago."

"Then...um...y'know...you guys got into a fight." She looked down, sadness in her eyes. Alastor placed his hand on hers to comfort her. "Then we got back to the hotel, and our friends said hi, blah blah blah," Charlie continued. "But Al and I couldn't sleep, so we talked a little bit. Actually, you'd be surprised how cute he looks when he's asleep."

Charlie flashed him an evil grin as he cleared his throat in embarrassment. "Ahem, yes...I was having a good dream, that's all," Alastor felt his face grow warmer with every time she associated him with 'cute'. He wasn't cute, he was Alastor. One of the most powerful beings in Hell. Tell that to your blush and sweaty palms, he thought to himself.

"And we made plans to go to the Dead Zone. I figured we needed to let loose a little. But an hour into driving, I got really tired suddenly." To further prove her point, she let out a long yawn.

"So Al told me about a convenience store nearby. But while we were driving, he said something like 'You didn't care about what I had done before' and I was like, 'I don't give a flying fuck because I love you' and I kissed him." Alastor was very flustered now. He remembered her words, they had emblazoned themselves into his mind.

"And I think I broke him, because a bunch of weird noises just exploded. Like, his audience wouldn't stop cheering." Alastor remembered that part too. She had caught him off guard, he wasn't used to such raw emotion. It had only happened to him once or twice before, and even then it wasn't as meaningful. This time, he enjoyed it.

Charlie seemed to be confused about something, and Alastor realized he had been blushing profusely. "You okay?" "I have never been better, darling." He answered quickly, looking away. Why did he still feel this way? Was he embarrassed about the kiss? Or was it the fact that he liked kissing her? His thoughts spun in his head, giving him more questions than answers.

The princess yawned once more. "Sorry, I'm really tired. Can I tell you the rest tomorrow?" Lucifer nodded and pecked her cheek. "Sleep tight, Apple Dumpling." He glanced over to Alastor, his smile grew ever so slightly. "Good night to you as well, Radio Demon."
