Chapter 30

Alexander's P.O.V

After hours of searching for any information on Madison, any leads that could possibly help us to find her and coming up empty handed was fustrating. The girl was good, she made sure that her tracks covered, it was like she disappeared. Even if we haven't found anything yet, it was evident that she had money and connections, if we were dealing with a regular person we would have already caught them. She had everything planned out from the beginning, thinking of every possible outcome and preparing for it. We were dealing with a smart one. I knew no idea why she wanted to drug my son and what she would have for after she had accomplished her goal.

I was glad that Marcus called me and briefted me on what was happening. I was still mad at him for not informing me last time my family was threatened. I always want to know about anything regarding my family's safety and Rebecca is family.

Marcus was about to call it a night when james came in some files, it must be the more personal details. We have been at the scene and her office with our P.I that we have yet to go through any personal information.

"Let's look through this before we leave son" I suggested at which Marcus nodded. We started to look through our individual copies.

D.O.B: May 26, 1995
Father: Gavin Myers

Wait.... Madison is Gavin's daughter, I didn't know that Gavin even had a child. The new information made me think, was this also Chloe's daughter. So I continued reading.

Mother: Chloe Price Myers

She was.

I stood up immediately, knowing what I knew now, I knew exactly what to do. Marcus looked up at me puzzled, even though we were reading the same thing I was one-hundred percent possitive that he he skipped over that tiny but important information.

"Where are you going" he asked

"To pay my ex a visit "

"Why would you do that " he asked, the look in his eyes showed me that he was both confused and suspicious.

"Because" I tapped the document infornt of him " Chloe is her mother"

He looked shocked, opening the file again, I knew he skipped over it. He's been like this since this morning, unfocused, he hasn't told me what's on his mind.

I left before he could say anything

I drove as fast as I could to get to my destination. As I drove, I wondered why Chloe's daughter was after my son, why she was working for him in the first place, her father was rich she had no need to work.

I pulled up in there drive way and got out of the call. I made my way to the door, the house was smaller than I thought it would be. It must have been Gavin's decision, Chloe must have made a fuss. Chloe always liked flashy things, always wanted the latest, biggest. A gold digger was what she is,I'm so glad I dogged that bullet.

Unfortunately Gavin died two months ago at the age of 89. After our breakup, Chloe was quick to find another rich man to sink her clause in. But when Gavin died, Chole found out that she got nothing, everything was given to his daughter and other relatives.

I rang the doorbell and a minute later Chloe herself answered, she looked surprised to see me which is fair.

"Alexander" she gasped " What are you doing here " she asked, I was about o answer but she cut me off.

"Tired of your wife, I knew you would come back to me one day. Even if you took over 30 years "she said with a voice that she thinks is sexy.

"I don't have any time for this Chloe, where is your daughter" she's being surprised that I asked her her daughter.
