GUILTY, BUT INNOCENT

Jungkook sat on the seat but his mind went somewhere else. He looks at his hands which are covered with his Dad's blood. His mind still couldn't forget how he saw his father lying on the floor with no movement on his chest. Blood all over the place, in front of a woman who was crying hardly at the corner of the scene. A scene where he saw Eunha running without knowing where to go came across his mind. There , he remembered the blood stains on Eunha's clothes which slowly faded away due to the rain.

Aunt Sehye and his brother Joonhyung waited patiently in front of the surgery room, waiting for the doctors' respond. Almost 1 hour passed but his Dad is still fighting inside the room. Feeling angry, Joonhyung stormed over to Jungkook to ask what had happened.

"What happened Jungkook-ah! What happened to Dad!" Joonhyung asked, shaking Jungkook's body vigorously. Jungkook seems to be not interested in replying his brother's question. He felt annoyed plus confusion and shock had him muted.

He would be lying if he didn't envy towards his own brother. Even though his brother was adopted, he gets a lot more attention from his Dad than him, even though he is his father's own blood . That is why he's more close to his Mom instead.

"You were there Jungkook! You must know what she did to Dad! You must tell the police everything! That woman shall be punished!" Joonhyung said, slowly loosing his sanity. Realizing that Jungkook stayed silent, Joonhyung felt more annoyed. "Why can't you answer me!!! Where does your annoying mouth goes??!!!"

"Joonhyung!" Aunt Sehye yelled from behind. "Will you two stop! This is not the time to argue.". With that, Joonhyung let go of Jungkook's collar.

"W-Where have you been, Mom? You should be there with Dad. But where did you go?" Jungkook asked, still maintaining his cold tone. Feeling the vibe now is intense, Aunt Sehye walked to Jungkook and sat beside him.

"I-I was there with your Dad at first, my son. But i need to go somewhere. I got an important call from my client but the line at Eunha's house is bad. So Mom excuse myself for a while to get a proper line. It turns out that only the convenience store have a good line. And then it starts to pouring heavily, I didn't bring any umbrella. And then suddenly I got a call from you, telling me that Dad was rushed to the hospital." Aunt Sehye explained, informing Jungkook that she really didn't know what really happened to her husband.

She then look at Joonhyung. "Don't worry, I myself will investigate this case and seek justice for him."

"Can you really do that Mom?" Jungkook asked, eyes locked to the white floor.

"What do you mean? Who is the woman you saw?" Aunt Sehye asked back.

"What if i told you, the one who killed Dad, is your own best friend." Jungkook paused before continue. " Soo YoonHa."

The three are looking at each other with serious looks on their face. Just about Joonhyung wanna ask further, the door of the surgery room swung open. Revealing the doctor full in his surgery attire.

"How's my husband, doctor?" Aunt Sehye asked, not liking the face the doctor was showing to her.

"We tried our best to help. But i'm sorry to inform you that the 4 stabs in his left chest had damaged the major blood vessels and even wounded his heart, make it really hard for us to save him. On 3:15 am, Mr.Jeon shows no more pulses. My team and i are terribly sorry and i send to you my condolence. " The doctor pat Joonhyung's shoulder a few times before excusing himself.

It left the whole Jeon family with scars in their heart. Joonhyung hug his Mom tightly and let Jungkook to join in his embrace.
