THE ALLEY

It has been a month and a few days more, Eunha stay in Jungkook's bungalow as invited by her mother. Not even once, Jungkook would spare his time to talk with or even glances to Eunha. Eunha did tried to approach him, but he seems to be avoiding her as much as he could. Long story short, Jungkook is being cold towards her. It didn't seems something to be concerned about since Jungkook already behave coldly towards her at school but somehow, this time it bothered Eunha a lot as things are not the same anymore.

Even though they're not certain yet whether her mother is the one in guilt, Eunha felt like she should apologize to Jungkook. For coming in his life and cause his brother leave the house. 

Eunha was cutting some fruits at the kitchen island while the maid is busy preparing the cakes to serve as the tea time snacks. While she was cutting the fruits, the maid suddenly excuse herself. It's like the maid is giving Eunha some space. Eunha looked behind her and saw Jungkook was standing there with his usual cold look.

"Uhm..Jungkook. Do you want anything from the kitchen? I can grab it for you." Eunha said and quickly stand up from her seat. Jungkook ignore her and went straight to get some cold water to drink. Eunha felt awkward to be alone with him in the kitchen. She really needs to break the silence. She thought maybe it's the time to apologize.

"Look Jungkook, i hope you will hear me out this time." Eunha said and walked to Jungkook. Luckily, Jungkook didn't walked away. He was playing with his glass while staring at the cold water in it.

"I-I wanted to apologize for everything that happened. These couldn't have happened if i didn't showed up to Mr.Jeon that day. Your brother will not leave the-"

"What is your plan, actually? I've been wondering about it for month." Jungkook suddenly cuts her off. Eunha was confused by what Jungkook just said.

"W-What plan?" Eunha frowned. 

"What is your family's motives in coming into our life? The poverty that you're in make me think that you're aiming for my family's wealth. But i can't think that killing my father would help you in your motive. So i won't go for that theory. So tell me, what is your reason for coming here? Your mother want to take revenge upon my Mom because she steal her first love? She's not really crazy, right? She's pretending." Jungkook said while walking passed Eunha, facing his back to Eunha.

Eunha was speechless. Speechless to hear those hurtful words coming from the mouth of a person who barely know her. 

"H-How could you said that."Eunha said, trying to cope with her sobbings. "I'll prove to you. My mother is not guilty! She was framed!". Eunha walked to the front, wanting to face the ignorant Jungkook.

"Yes, we're poor, we know it. But we're not that desperate to beg and planned for a murder just to get wealth! The story of my mother and your Dad is just the past. They're already forget and accept it. They already decided to move on but why couldn't you?" Eunha said, felt frustrated. 

"My mother is not crazy. She's depressed. She was already diagnosed with depression before, but what happened now had pushed her to the limit she can't bear with. She's not crazy, she's sick." Eunha couldn't hold her tears anymore. Tears start streaming down her cheeks. "You know nothing about what we faced through but yet you judge us. You insult us. S-She's not crazy."

Knowing that she will cry uncontrollably, Eunha decided to walk away. She almost spill the tea which Mrs.Jeon asked her to keep as secret from everyone. Their plan to find Jung Euntaek, her father, it was not meant for everyone to know. 

Eunha decided to take a walk at the town. Jungkook just stared when Eunha leaves the house, not bother to chase her and apologize. He himself is fighting against the mixed feelings inside him, making him don't know what to do. Yes he do feel mad, guilty, sympathy, and more.
