ELUSIVE

REASON?

The people become lesser and lesser as they excused themselves after giving their last respect and condolence to Mrs. Jung Chaewon. Most of the people went to bid goodbye and excuse themselves to her father, Mr.Jung and didn't dare to approach Yerin who was sitting alone, hugging her knees while looking blankly at her mother's portrait in the frame with tears flooding in her eyes. Only some were able to approach her and send their condolence but Yerin didn't give much response. She only sat there and eyes locked on her mother's picture.

Only few guests left and Yerin still rot at where she sat. Taehyung is still faithfully waiting and watched her from afar, not knowing how and what is the best way to approach her during this time. He keep telling himself to wait for the right time, but he's still not sure when. He looks at Mr.Jung who was still discussing something with a few of policemen and look back at Yerin. 'Will her father blamed her for the death of her mother too?' Taehyung thought to himself, worried if it did happened, he'll not hesitate to stand up for Yerin.

A car suddenly drove in, probably the last guess. Taehyung look out from the window while Mr.Jung stand in front of the main door, both were curious about the last guest. 1 man and 3 women came out from the car, wearing black attire.

"Good evening Mr.Jung. Please forgive me for coming at this hour. The jammed was very bad cause there was an accident. My name is Mrs.Jeon or the Lawyer Yoon Sehye." Mrs.Jeon introduced herself and offer a handshake, friendly accepted by Mr.Jung. " I'm Mrs.Jung employer, she works as part time maid at my house. I'm terribly saddened by her loss and please accept my condolence."

"It's okay, thank you for coming." Mr.Jung said and lead her and the rest to do the last respect to his wife. Each of them takes turn to put flowers on Mrs.Jung coffin and pay their last respect. Eunha was the last one after Maid Choi.

"Maid Chaewon, this is me, Eunha. Thank you so much for your help, your kindness, your affection and your love to me. Thank you for making me feels like i have a mother again. I will never forget you. I didn't expect we would separate this soon. But i'll apply what you once taught me, i must be strong . I must not disappointed you. Hope you can rest in peace now and justice will come for you. " Eunha sobs and put the flowers in front od Maid Chaewon's picture in frame.

Yerin who previously just lost in the gaze of her mother's eye felt like she knew the girl's voice just now. Her eyes moved to see the girl who is still standing in front of the picture of her mother, only to see the back of hers. Yerin finally stood up and slowly approach the girl from the back. When she's closer enough, she put her hand on the girl's shoulder but didn't have the courage yet to spin her around to face her.

"E-Eunha?" Yerin asked. Eunha felt someone was holding her shoulder and she look behind. Only to see the face she missed the most, the person who she's been longing for after her mother.

"Yerin? is it you Yerin-unnie?" Eunha asked, almost slightly screaming. The two exchange shock look, examining each other's face. To add up the shock even more, Taehyung showed up to them.

"Yerin! I just saw Eunha and Jungkook! She's-" Taehyung stop in his word when he saw the two girls are already met. "Ou, y-you guys met." Taehyung said, with his stunned look.

"So it's you! It's really you!" Eunha said and pulled Yerin into her hug. "Where have you been, Yerin-unnie? I-I miss you so much!" Eunha said, hugging Yerin even tighter.

"Eunha-ya...Eunha-ya.. my mo-mother." Yerin stuttered and finally she burst to tears again. She got no one to cry onto. And now that she finally met Eunha, she felt like crying her heart out loud.

"Your mother? What's wrong? Why?" Eunha asked but seeing Yerin was lost in her tears, Eunha lift her eyebrow up to Taehyung, signaling her to tell her what had happened. Noticing the sign, Taehyung approach the girls and stand beside them.
