THE RAGE

It has been a week since Maid Chaewon sleep over at Jungkook's house. Jungkook somehow felt like he has put Maid Chaewon in burden but he can't breath in peace if he knew Eunha is left alone in her room. Both Maid Chaewon and him know the reason why. That night almost make their assumption true.

It was the day when Maid Chaewon couldn't make it home since it was raining heavily and Maid Chaewon is pretty scared of thunder and riding cars during the mad thunderstorms. Jungkook offered her to sleep over, thinking that Maid Chaewon might can keep Eunha company as well.

In the middle of the night, as he can't really fall asleep as he was studying for his job interview soon, Jungkook came down to the kitchen to grab a glass of warm water and some snacks to keep him awake. As he walked passed the kitchen, he look over the hallway just looking around. To his surprise, his eyes caught a figure wearing black hoodie was standing only 5 feet away from Eunha's room. Jungkook couldn't believe his eyes so he walked a little bit closer but far enough to hide and make sure he's not being seen. Now he's standing behind the man, examining the figure's back. In his hand, he gripped tight a baseball bat, for safety reason if it turns out that the man is a robber.

But he was curious as the man brings nothing, not a bag, or any weapon that could define him as a robber. The man was still standing 5 feet away from Eunha's room, while Jungkook patiently waiting for the right time to attack if the man behave suspiciously while hiding behind the wall.

The suspicious man finally make a move. He took out something from his pocket. A small glass bottle and a handkerchief. He poured a bit of what the bottle contains to the handkerchief. He stormed to Eunha's room and attempt to open the door with some tools Jungkook's couldn't see well.

Suddenly the door swung open from the inside, revealing sleepy Maid Chaewon in her pajama.

"Sir Junghyung? What are you doing here?" Hearing what just Maid Chaewon said, Jungkook's eyes grew bigger. But before he could approach the man whom Maid Chaewon said to be Junghyung, the man quickly walked away before Jungkook could catch up to him.

"Sir Jungkook?" Maid Chaewon asked, finally feeling like she's fully awoke.

"Is it true that you just saw Junghyung-hyung?" Jungkook asked, feeling extremely worried. If it's true that the man just now is Junghyung, he can assure that Junghyung is up to no good.

"I-I'm sure it's him. He wore mask just now but I-I'm sure it's him. Why is he here just now Sir Jungkook?" Maid Chaewon asked in confusion.

"I don't know. But he's acting weird." Jungkook assumed.

The day after the night, Junghyung left the home, leaving a letter to Jungkook. Telling him to send his regards to Mom when Mom comes home and inform him that he needs to leave immediately because some problems happens in his company where he shared with his friend. Jungkook couldn't help but to think that it's just a lie. He could come again anytime in an unexpected time.

Just like yesterday, he saw a suspicious car outside of the gate of their house. Waiting for something he didn't know. So he decided to act like wanna have a walk at the house compound. When he did that, the car will drive away.

The bell of the front door suddenly rang. Maid Chaewon who walked to get the door was stopped by Jungkook, signaling that Jungkook want to get the door instead.

"Hi, brother!" Revealing Junghyung, Jungkook smelled a little bit of alcohol from Junghyung. "Long time no see. I just stopped by to congratulate you on your succeed in getting the new job!" Junghyung said walking lazily to the living room and take a seat, lying his head on the sofa. Jungkook rolled his eyes before closing the door and walked up to Junghyung.
