"Ate ano pong name mo?"

I was caught off-guard and I didn't get to answer her immediately. Marahan akong napailing at pinilit ang satiling mapakalma upang maayos ko siyang masagot.

"L-leigne Dela... Gente..." hindi ko pa rin talaga napigilang mautal gayong pangalan lang naman ang hinihingi.

Nanlamig ang aking katawan nang maramdaman mula sa ilalim ng mesa ang dulo ng sapatos ni Xerxes. It's lightly poking and moving up my ankle which made me be in a panic mode. It seems like he's trying to tease me and he's really enjoying this game!

I moved my foot and lowkey stomped at his which made him move from his seat, causing the two girls to look at him because they got distracted. I know that I kinda hurt his foot after stepping on it because I'm wearing heels.

"Ganda po ng accent mo, ate. Amerikana ka?" pagbabalik atensyon sa akin ng babae.

"T-thanks," I laughed softly but still feeling a bit uneasy. "Fil-Am ako. My mom is American then my dad is a Filipino."

"Sana all," the girl reacted in an amazed tone. "Ang ganda ng boses, tapos ang ganda rin ng itsura niya, Nirah. Hindi siya mukhang jejemon sa pink hair, parang diyosa," she whispered to her friend.

They didn't interview me much since I told them that I'm an aviatrix or airline pilot. Their interview task is only to those doctors so after knowing the basic informations about me, they thanked both me and Xerxes before leaving us alone on our table again.

"You done eating?" he asked after the two have left.

"Why, do you still see food on my plate?" I raised a brow.

"My sarcastic doll is back." One corner of his lips rose up. "But the doll who only eats two meals a day is gone. Damn, I wasn't informed that you're already eating in a correct way. Three times," he acted surprised which made me roll my eyes.

He fixed the sleeves of his dress shirt before standing up from the chair. I did the same and was about to walk out of the canteen when his hand caught my waist and pulled me near him. He didn't say anything and he just started walking with me beside him, having his masculine scent getting into my nerves.

"Why did you say that I'm your girlfriend earlier?!" I hissed along the way back to Xavier's room.

"Pwede mo naman itanggi kanina sa halip na ibigay nga ang pangalan mo," he said, showing off another smirk.

Ramdam ko ang biglang pagpula ng aking pisngi dahil sa pagkapahiya. And I think my cheeks burned more when his other hand reached for the side of my face and his thumb caressed my lower lip. When his face went near mine, I thought he's about to kiss me so I closed my eyes but instead, I heard a chuckle and I didn't get any kiss.

"Where's the prim Arleigne Dela Gente? Maamos ka na ngayon," pang-aasar nito habang pinapakita ang daliri niyang ipinampunas ng amos sa may labi ko na dulot ng mac and cheese.

Wait, was I having that stain on my lip the whole time even during the interview with the two young ladies? Nakakahiya kung oo!

"Next time, I won't be using my thumb to wipe those small stains from food. It's either you wipe it on your own..." He moved his face an inch closer before licking his thumb in a way that's sexy. "...or I'll clean it with my lips and tongue."

"Just shut up, flirt." I jerked away and started walking away. I could hear his low laugh and when I took a short-second look at him, he's combing his hair with his fingers and pushed it going to the back while walking calmly. He had his hands kept inside his pocket after fixing his hair, and is now following and trying to catch up with me. With his long legs, naabutan niya pa rin ako dahil na rin siguro sa medyo mabagal ako maglakad, I'm wearing high heels.
