"Seraphina Malfoy." Professor McGonagall said, reading off from the list in her hands. The youngest Malfoy emerged from the crowd of first years. The Hall silenced after hearing the last name. All eyes were locked on her as she sat down on the stool. As the Sorting Hat was placed on her head, it took a while to sort her.
"Another Malfoy... you're different from the rest. You're ambitious, cunning, yet loyal, and brave. I sense a lot of courage coming from you following a daring future. Hmmm... difficult... let it be... GRYFFINDOR!" The little girl's face dropped as she looked at her twin brother who had been sorted into Slytherin.
A toothless smile appeared on the girl's face, however, as she was greeted kindly by the rest of the Gryffindor House. As she watched the rest of the ceremony, she couldn't help but think if the Hat had made a mistake by placing her into Gryffindor. She knew that she had always been different than the rest of her family, but she quickly shook the thought off. She was excited to be at Hogwarts, but what she hadn't accounted for was the evil that awaited her later on when she became older.
