(2) how it all began

"Kiri hurry we're gonna be late" my best friend Mina Ashido called as she barged into my dorm room her pink long hair bouncing as she sat on my bed. Mina and I had been best friends since the 5th grade she was the one who taught me to stand up for myself and was like a sister to me. she's honestly the best I'm so lucky to have her as my best friend. "Ok ok gimme a sec" I quickly stuffed all my books in my bag and pulled on my blazer. "We can't be late on the first day back after the break" mina whined as she pulled my wrist. We went downstairs to the kitchen got some Cereal and went to join some of our classmates who were watching "Saiki K." One of my favorite shows. I sat next to one of my other friends Denki Kamanari he was funny but sometimes very stupid I wonder how he even got into U.A. don't get me wrong I'm glad he did because he's so much fun to be around with his electric personality and blond hair with a black streak on the left side in the form of a lighting streak. Next to him was Sero Hanta who was pretty much the tape that held the group together being the mom and most responsible and calm of us all if it wasn't for him we'd either be dead or in jail. Mina sat on a bean bag infront of the couch where me,Denki and Sero were seated. After we finished eating we put our utensils in the dishwasher and started walking to school. We talked about everything and anything. When we got to class most of the others were already there we greeted the ones we didn't see at the dorm because they either left early or just got back from the break."hey mama" I rolled my eyes as I looked at the only person in the class shorter than me Mineta he was so annoying and hit on all the girls not online our class or school basically any girl he saw. Once he was caught drilling a hole in the wall between the girls and boys changing rooms. I just Ignored him and walked away rolling my eyes. I must have rolled them too far back because I then bumped into someone's hard abs which sent me to the floor landing on my butt. I rubbed my head as I looked who I bumped into. OMG I freaked out as the ash blonde's  crimson red eyes  met mine which looked just like his but darker. I blushed as I quickly rushed to my feet. "Sorry Bakugo I wasn't looking where I was going" I said rubbing the back of my neck with a giggle. "It's fine just watch were your going nest time" before I could respond the door opened and out homeroom teacher walked in looking sleep deprived as usual. "Get to your seats please class is about to begin" he said in his montone voice. "U-mm Mr. Aizawa you haven't given us this year's seating chart" Izuki Midorya said he was a small boy with green eyes and freckles "oh yea" he then called ida a blued hair boy with glasses who happened to be the class rep. Ida red the chart and told everyone their assigned seats I was in the second row with Denki to my left, Momo the class vice president she had long black hair that was always up in a ponytail sitting behind me, infront of me was Mina and to my left Bakugo if you didn't notice I've had a crush on the crimson eyed ash blonde since the beginning of the year of course I've never told him because I don't want to ruin out friendship. I realized we were halfway through the lesson and I'd zoned out thinking about Bakugo I just looked at the board and zoned out the rest of the class
Time skip to lunch
As I was putting my books in my bag to go catch up with Mina and the rest when I threw my bag over my shoulder I felt a tap on my other shoulder. I turn to see Bakugo "hey do you have plans for lunch or something" he asked looking down "n-no I was just going to catch up with the rest of the squad" I responded looking down "whatever" then he walks past me and stops at the door fame "you coming red?"  "Red?" I spin around and walk o words him "yea it's a new nickname because you like red so much....don't you like it?" He asked his red eyes piercing through my soul I turned around and blushed avoiding his gaze. "N-no I like it" trying to recover from all my blushing and stuttering I added "then I'll call you Kat" I said with a smile "Kat?x he looked confused "y'know from your name Katsuki"  I responded trying to hide my blush "ohhhh I like it". we walked together to the cafeteria and pick up our trays as we spot Mina and the rest sitting at the table at the far back. I set down my tray next to Mina as Bakugo sets his next to me with Denki, Jirou, and Sero sitting across us. we talked about everything and anything just eating our food and laughed until the bell rang reminding us it's time to go back to class.
Time skip to the end of school because nothing interesting happened
"Hey Bakugo wait up" I waved my had signaling him to wait for me. We walked together to the dorms talking until he stopped and turned to me with those dazzling red eyes and pushing his blond bangs out of his eyes mumbled something "Huh?" I said not hearing what he said "do you wanna go for ice cream or something after school?" Wait did I hear that right did Bakugo Just ask my out The Bakugo Katsuki ask me Erija Kirishima out? No no it's just as friends don't get ahead of yourself Ejira. I didn't realize I'd zoned out until I heard"H-hey it's ok if you don't want to you know what forget I ever asked" then he stuffed his hands I'm his pocket and walked ahead of me.
I quickly run up to him and grabbed his wrist to stop him "n-no I'd love to go" he turned and looked at me four crimson eyes met "you don't have to go out of pity you know it's fine I said forget it" I shook my head still not letting go of his wrist "no I want to I was just really excited when you asked me I was speechless" I said quickly. I can swear I saw him smile but his expression less face quickly returned "alright I'll swing by your dorm at 3 sound good" I nodded flashing him my toothy grin. "Y-you can let go now" I didn't realize I was still holding his wrist Ejira you hopeless idiot "o-hh u-mm s-orry" I stattered out then looked down blushing as I let go. "By the way what's your dorm number?" He asked. "It's 16" he just nodded and said "wow surprised we didn't bump into each other" I think he was just talking to himself but I still looked at him puzzled he noticed my confusion and spoke "mine is 15 so I'm right next door from you". "Wait weren't you 20 before the break" I asked remembering all the times I'd been to the dorms because I was tutoring me he's really smart. "Oh yes I didn't wanna be on the top floor anymore so I asked them to move me lower" he said putting his hands in his pocket and shrugging "anyway I've gotta change and get ready since we're dorm neighbors I'll text you when I'm ready" "sounds good with me" I said excitedly and walked into the dorm complex
