We didn't really care about the stupid interaction Lasombra had with one of his goons since Rhonda actually guessed the password. Arnold then takes a few steps without me saying "okay Lasombra, you have me now, you can let my friends go." 'I wouldn't leave you behind Arnold, you already know we're basically attached by the hip. Best friends don't ditch eachother in this type of situation-' "Arnold, come on, don't be mad. You're my partner, remember? Our secret?" Lasombra asks out, my eyes widen at this as I glare at him.

"I knew you were no good!! You lying, conniving, little-" "'partner'??" "What 'secret'?" "You knew?!" Phoebe, Helga and Gerald ask out after another. "No! I mean-" "he-" "oh, these two didn't tell you? We planned to go look for his precious Green-Eyed People." Everyone then asks "'Green-Eyed People'?!" I shake my head "no! No! He's twisting it all up." Arnold nods his head to agree with me as he says "yeah, I thought maybe if we found the Green-Eyed People, they could tell me where my parents are." Sid is the first to say "Arnold, say it ain't so! You weren't actually helping this jamoke?" He also points up at Lasombra.

Gerald points at Arnold saying "I knew it! Why didn't you just tell me?? And (Y/n), if you knew this guy was bad, why didn't you tell any of us?!" He adds me in. I look at them saying "it's not like you'd all believe me, it was a gut feeling that I had from being around him." Arnold then answers with "I'm sorry, Gerald, I-" "You've gone, Benedict, Arnold! Benedict Arnold was a general to the other si-" "WE KNOW, SIMMONS!!" The entire class yelled at him. Helga then crossed her arms asking "sheesh! So what's so great about this mega-doofus anyways?" I roll my eyes at her. Lasombra then started to explain why he needs Arnold's help to begin with anyways since we're still a bit confused.

"The ancient Green-Eyes foretold that a child of the volcano will save them and they believe Arnold may be that child. For years, I've sought after the mysterious Green-Eyes to get my hands on their even more mysterious Corazón." Phoebe has a book with her as she searched the word up saying "'Corazón; translation; Heart.'" Lasombra looks down at Arnold and points at him saying "with him by my side, the Green-Eyes are sure to show themselves to me." Lasombra then points at something with his thumb, and a goon flips a switch, behind the stage is some stuff.

Lasombra continues with a smirk saying "as you see, I've made a career of stealing and selling all that is precious in Central America. But one treasure still eludes me: the Corazón" Curly goes on the stage saying "psst! Do you need an inside man? I can be the camp snitch. Wink!" Then he motions his finger to show that he's winking under his thick glasses 'it's hard to see his eyes.' Lasombra answers with "sorry, kid, you are too loco even for us villains" I softly facepalm at this. Helga then stomps her way towards Arnold, but I stand in her way so she wouldn't get to Arnold.

"Great job, bringing us all here for your bogus contest, and instead, you sap, we're all prisoners of some stinkin psycho river pirate!" Helga says and tries to get to Arnold. I push her back as I glare at her saying "you are so... so - I don't even have a word for you. Helga, you wanted to help Arnold with this, you actually did, if you didn't help too!!- it's all our faults. We can't all just go blaming eachother!" Arnold looks down sadly as he says "listen, Helga. I didn't want to hurt-" "ah, save the speech, you'll be fine.. as for all of you, lock them up!" Lasombra interrupts us.

They tried to get me away from Arnold, but I kicked the bottom of the sword and it flew up, I dodged it and say "I'm staying by Arnold. Don't even try to think otherwise!" The goons look at me shocked, but look back up at Lasombra. He shrugs his shoulders "eh, let her choose, it won't matter anyways" Lasombra answers out. Everyone starts to mumble how it's mine and Arnold's fault that this happened, but I swear we all contributed. Everyone gets locked up in one big place, but they put Arnold and I into a small cage.

Two people are guarding the cage, but they also fell asleep after a while, so I sit down on the ground as Arnold is sitting up on the bed. I dig back into my pocket and see that my picture got ruined during the walk here, so I look down sadly. Arnold then digs into his backpack and says "mom, dad.. all these years I hoped that we'd find eachother and be a family again. But... I guess I'm never going to find you, I'll never know what happened to you" Arnold then starts to cry. I never thought I'd see him cry after all this time, this is the only time I've ever seen him cry.

My eyes well up as I stand up and wrap my arm around his shoulders and he just still says "goodbye mom, goodbye dad. I'm sorry... I'm so sorry" then he cries into my shoulder as I sigh and rub his back a bit. "Everything's okay... even if you can't find your parents, you can at least know that you tried. Not to mention you can remember... we're still in the same boat, boarding house family, everyone hates us. We're always in the same boat" I say as I hold my hand out for a fist bump, Arnold sits up and wipes at his nose as he sniffs a bit.

He looks down at my hand, eyes getting more glossy as he just hugs me, I wasn't shocked by it this time as I just hug him back. "And even after all this time, I couldn't even-... throughout this entire time, I somehow don't even notice your own feelings. It was probably because-" "Arnold, let's not talk about this right now, I don't want to get rejected as we're trapped." Arnold playfully rolls his eyes and says "whatever you say, (Y/n)" with that we finally start going to sleep. Trying to get comfy on a small bed, it didn't take me long, but I could feel Arnold still shifting a bit.
