Colleens POV

I made my way down to the beach level and waited inside a room with the girls just near the exit out to the beach/ceremony area. I got my bouquet and so did all the girls, Most of the girls were crying and trying to put on last minute makeup but I tried to block hearing them. I didnt want to ruin my makeup. Someone knocked on the door and my mom peeked out and realized it was my dad. My mom said to him as his eyes raised up to see me "get ready your little girl looks amazing". Our eyes met and he started to cry. "please don't cry Dad...because then I will start" I pleaded. "you look beautiful Colleen. I am crying because I am so happy for you. It is what every parent wishes for in a childs life. Someone that makes them happy and will love them endlessly and you found that in Josh" he gushed. I then felt tears in my eyes and my mom and sister came over and pulled him away from me and starting waving the air in front of my face trying to stop me from ruining my makeup. I started to laugh. "Thank you Dad for everything you and mom have done for me. I love Josh with every ounce of me"

A few minutes later I heard "Okay then, lets get you married!!!" my dad says kinda of loudly.All the girls started to get in place in front of me and start making it down the aisle right outside the door as the music played. I linked arms with my Mom and Dad as I watched Jacob and Bailey start to walk. I was next. The music changed a little to indicate to me to start my way out. My mom put the veil in front of my face and smiled. We then walked through the doorway and down the aisle to Joshua.

Joshua POV

The bridesmaids looked amazing. Everyone did but the person I wanted to see the most was my bride. I smiled patiently as everyone took their places and I heard the music change for Colleen. My nerves disappeared and excitement set in. I saw our guests stand up and look down the aisle to watch her. I couldn't see her immediately when she made her way out of the doorway but the back row of guests  saw her and I heard everyone gasping and gushing. I couldnt stand it so I moved a little more forward as I couldn't wait any longer. 

I see her. OH MY GOD. I am having an out of body experience. She looks incredible and it feels like a dream. I look back at my dad who is standing at the altar with me as he is marrying us and he smiles, I turn back to look at her and I just loose it. Tears are streaming down my face. The guests are looking at my reaction and they start getting teary eyed as well. "My god" I whisper to myself. Charlie whispers and asks if I am ok and passes me a kleenex as Colleen now sees me and we have locked eyes. She looks angelic. Her dress, veil and makeup are incredible. I have always told Colleen she is beautiful everyday but today takes the cake. I am trembling at this point just hoping I don't pass out. This is a moment I will never forget. Colleen reaches the front and the music dies down. I hear my dad say "Who gives this woman to be married to this man?" Tim and Gwen say in unison 'we do". As they say this I reach out for Colleens hand and bring her closer to me. "Colleen you look stunning baby.....I love you so much". "Thank you baby I love you too. You don't look so bad yourself" I whisper. I then hear my dad say in front of all the guests "Okay you two the honeymoon hasn't started yet, lets try to get through the vows first". Everyone including Colleen and myself laugh as we turn our attention to my dad.

My dad carries on with the usual ceremony until he reaches the vows. Colleen and I have written our own to add onto the usual ones.

"Josh can you please tell Colleen your vows that you have written" my dad says. I nod and turn to face Colleen.

Colleen I love you so much. Everyone that is here today knows that and I think I have told you a million times but I dont want you think because I say it so often it has lost its meaning. Babe you are my world and have been for 6 years. Its like a dream I never want to end. When I stand in front of you I feel complete. You make my heart and soul so happy just holding you and or even thinking of you. I thank my lucky stars that we met and wonder everyday what I did to deserve you. In saying that I stand in front of you promising you to always honour, respect and love you more with everyday that goes by. I will be proud to be your husband. I love you.

Colleen has tears in her eyes and I reach over to wipe them as she smiles at me.

Colleens POV

"Colleen, can you please tell Joshua your vows that you have written?" Mr Evans asks. I nod and try to gather myself before I start. I take a deep breath and begin:

Joshua I love you so much. As you know I am not emotional often but today I feel as if I need to express everything in  my heart so you understand how much I love you. You are my happy. You make me a better person just from your love and I hope I do the same for you. I cannot wait to be your wife and start our family and I knew this 6 years ago from the day we met. People thought we were crazy but we stood by each other and showed everyone what true love is through good and bad times. I am so happy you chose me as you said when you proposed to me over a  year ago. I promise to be faithful to you, honour and respect you everyday of my life. I will be proud to be by your side. I love you.

I smiled at him and this time wiped the tears from his eyes. We giggled as we looked at the crowd and heard everyone sniffling and crying.

"May I have the rings Jacob?" Mr Evans said. Jacob then walked up with the rings and Joshs dad took them and asked Josh to take mine and place it on my left hand ring finger and say the regular vows as he slid it on. I then did the same back to Josh and slid his wedding ring on his finger. We both stared at each other mesmerized as we held hands and listened patiently for the words we wanted to hear.

"With the power vested to me by the state of California, I now pronounce you Mr and Mrs Joshua and Colleen Evans, you may kiss the bride!!!"  I heard cheers erupt into the crowd of guests as Joshua wrapped his arms around my waist and I put my arms around his neck as we passionately kissed for the first time as husband and wife. Today was such a wonderful dream come true.
