Colleen POV

I am laying by the pool as Josh is swimming. It his birthday and what a wonderful way to spend it in the sun together in Hawaii. "Babe are you having a good birthday? I yell to him. "Yes ma'am...whats not to like?" he says with a huge smile as I walk over to edge of the pool and sit with my feet in the water. I want to talk to him about something to do with the delivery of the baby. Now that we are only 3 months away we need to make decisions. I think I want a home birth. I want privacy. I want him and I and a midwife. I have spent so much time in hospitals and doctors offices the past few months. I want home. I know he will give me a fight. He wants the protection of doctors and nurses and operating rooms in case anything goes wrong. But it won't go wrong and that is what I need to convince him of. He sees I am deep in thought because he shakes his head at me and soaks me. "I thougnt you may need to step out of that trance you are in " as he laughs. "I want to talk to you Joshua" I say. "Sure" he replys. "Whats up?" he says as he leans on my knees with his arms and looks up at me. "I have been thinking and doing research over the past month and I think I may want to look into a home birth" I say. "No Colleen. It isn't safe for you or the baby. With your track record something might go wrong. I need to know you and Lilly will have top care if you need it" he says as he looks at me seriously. "Babe I want it to be you and me welcoming her into the world not 20 people I don't know" I say. "Teeny says she knows a great midwife and we are only 5 minutes from the hospital if anything goes wrong" I plead. "At least lets think about it and research it more." He nods.

Josh POV

All I can think is of something going wrong. I would never forgive myself but for her I will research and look into it. I sit beside her at the pool and grab her hand. She looks at me squinting from the sun smiling. She looks angelic. She is my angel.

We enjoy our week of doing nothing so much. We are packing up and going to the airport but Colleen thinks we are going home to LA when we are really flying to Georgia. "Babe remember how I asked you about going to Georgia and we headed here instead as a surprise?" She nods. "Well we aren't going home today. We are headed to see my parents for the last time before the baby is born" I smile. She hugs me so hard and starts jumping up and down. "I am so excited!" she says. "I can't wait to eat BBQ" she laughs. "Oh so you just want food hey? Are you pregnant or something?" I laugh. "We will get BBQ babe, anything you want" I say as I kiss her.

We jump on the plane and its a 9 hr flight so we have tons of time to research midwives and home births. Colleen opens a few links Teeny sent her and we read them and discuss them together.By the end of the flight we were both sleeping. We landed and then stayed at a hotel before trying to make a 2 hr drive at 1am after the long flight to my parents house. We needed sleep. We would travel there in the morning. 

We get up the next morning and make our way into the car. We talk about the midwife and I think I am more convinced. Plus with Colleen being in the public spotlight it is easier to maintain her privacy. "Babe I think I would like to have a conversation with that midwife when we get back and see what she says." I say. Colleen just says "thanks honey....thank you for giving it a chance" and squeezes my hand.
