End of paradise

JOsh POV

It was the last day of our honeymoon and we were packing up to go home. It was a wonderful week for Colleen and I. We enjoyed some tanning, swimming, eating, relaxing and of course our alone time. Magical combination. I turn around after zipping my suitcase up and find Colleen packing her stuff in the bathroom. I walk in and hug her and she smiles. She goes into her cosmetic case and pops out her birth control case and takes her daily pill. I shake my head as I walk away. "What are you shaking your head at Josh?" she asks. "You know I hate that pill thing" I say back. "What do you want to do? Condoms? Nothing?" she asks and just looks at me waiting for my response. "if it is up to me I don't want you to take anything. I would rather we use condoms for the meantime" I say. "Let me talk to my doctor when we get back and see what she says okay?" Colleen asks. "Sounds good. I will come with you okay? " I say. Colleen nods her head and smiles.

A few hours later we are in the plane looking at all the video we took while we were on our honeymoon. We start editing a massive honeymoon video. We are both laughing and smiling at all the different types of footage from romantic to playful to down right silly. I think we are both sad that it is all over. "The honeymoon was everything and more for me babe, what about you?" I ask. She grabs and cuddles my arm and says "It was better than I could have ever dreamed" she smiled "I am glad we waited for so long...it was worth it. Thank you for waiting for me and giving yourself to me only" she added. I kissed the top of her head and said "ditto babe" and we continued watching the footage.

Colleen POV

We have been home for about a week and are slowly decompressing. We are back to our regular schedule and making videos almost everyday. We are down right busy. Over the last couple days I have had a constant headache but don't tell Josh so he doesn't worry however today is the worst. I call Rachel and ask her to take me to urgent care. I can't stand it anymore. Josh isn't home and again I don't want him to worry. I text him and say Rachel and I are going shopping. Rachel comes by 15 minutes later and I explain to her whats happening and how Josh worries and to never say a word to him about where we are really going. We park the car and walk in to the clinic near our house and I start filling in the forms in the waiting room. I hear the door open to the clinic as I am writing as I see a figure standing near me. I recognize the shoes and knows its Josh. I look up at him and he looks so hurt. So upset. "Josh I didn't want to worry you babe" as I stand up to hug him. He looks upset and annoyed all in one. "Colleen how do you think I feel driving by and seeing you walk into a clinic when you tell me you are going shopping? I don't know whether to be upset, angry, concerned??? Why would you uninclude me when I asked to come to the doctor with you when we were in Hawaii? I am your husband." I just hugged him tight and started to cry but at that instant my head started to really kill and I became faint. Josh pamicked and grabbed me and asked the nurse for assistance. Rachel helped Josh and walked me to an exam room. Josh explained what was happening to the doctor and his thoughts that it might be the birth control piills which were new to me as I cried in pain on the exam bed. The first thing they did was to give me an injection for the pain. I was holding Joshs hand crying. He was patting my head and kissing me. The doctor then decided to take blood from me to check my hormone levels. Josh was crying at this point because he was so worried. I just wanted the pain to end. Finally I remember my eyes closing slowly til it went dark.
