Christmas Day

Colleen POV

We are at my parents house exchanging gifts. Josh gets up and passes my parents their gift from us. I am so excited. They know nothing. One of the items in their gift is "#1 Grandma and Grandpa" mugs and it has their name on the coordinating mug. We then got them some sleepers with cute sayings on them. "Mom, I am wondering if we can keep these jumpers here so the baby will have something to wear and its less packing for me?" I say with a huge smile on my face. "Whaaaat???" my mom starts screaming. My dad starts to stand up and come over to hug us. He starts crying as he hugs me tight. "My little girl ain't so little" he whispers. MY mom at this point is hugging Josh so tight I don't think he can breathe. He is laughing. She then comes over to me crying...."Colleen how far along are you? How long have you known? How are you feeling?" I start laughing and explain to her that I am about 10 weeks and due July 4th. She starts jumping up and down. I tell her I have known for about 6 weeks. I explain the hormone shots to get pregnant and the scare with the bedrest. She becomes quiet. I tell her how great my husband is for taking such good care of me. She turns around and runs at Josh once again hugs him crying. "Thank you for loving my daughter and taking such amazing care of her and my grandchild. I can never repay you for that. She picked the right man" she says in between sobs.Josh hugs her back and says "I will always look after her better than I do myself. She is my life and so is our sweet baby she is carrying inside of her". Omce she releases Josh she wants to see my tummy. I lift up my shirt and she jumps up and down again as she sees the slight bump. I smile. "We don't know the sex yet . Not for a few more weeks."

Josh POV

Christmas day was so great. Gwen and Tim were sooo excited. Now its time to tell my family. Colleen and I are at the airport checking our bags in. We jump on the plane and settle into our seats. "I am getting a cold baby" she says as she cuddles onto my arm. "Go to sleep babe and rest" I say as I kiss her head. A few hours later we land and Colleen wakes up and hugs me. Her nose is sooo red from wiping it. I am worried about her getting run down again. "Colleen when we get to my parents house we should go right to sleep. You need your rest." She nods.

I drive the rental car to my parents. Its about 10pm. My parents are waiting for us as we walk in and we hug them. I explain to them Colleen isn't feeling well because of her cold so I bring her into our room and get her into bed. I kiss her and she is asleep before I can tell her I love you. I walk back out to my parents who are in the living room and join them on the couch. We sit and chat for about 20 minutes and I then excuse myself to go to bed. I walk into our room and I see Colleen snoring. She must be clogged up. I bring in the vaporizer I had when I was sick as a kid and turn it on. It should help her breathe better. I crawl in beside her and snuggle her. She grabs my hand and brings it to her mouth and kisses it. "I love you Joshua" she whispers. "Love you more" I say. She rolls over and starts kissing me passionately. It has been a few weeks since we have been intimate and my body is tingling with her evey touch. I kiss her back as my hands roam down to her thighs and back up along her swollen tummy. "I can't believe we are gonna do it in my childhood bedroom" as I start to laugh. "Scandulous" Colleen giggles. I then grab her and lay her on top of me as I kiss her from her mouth to her neck and back up to her mouth again. "I need you baby" I whisper. I pull down my boxers and Colleen slides out of her onesie. I am looking at my beautiful pregnant wife as I run my hands up her back. I then roll her onto her back and start to make love to her. She is sooo turned on she grasps onto my back and explodes as quietly as she can into my shoulder. I am not far after her as I slide off of her and hug her. "You are sooo beautiful Colleen.....you are my everything babe."

The next morning comes and Colleen and I shuffle out of our bedroom to the living room. Colleen sits down and I grab my parents Christmas gifts from  us to them. We got them a similar gift with the mugs, a photoframe and some blankets,socks and toys. "MOm I am wondering if we can keep this at your house so that when we come for a visit it is less for us to pack for the baby." I say smiling. "JOSHUA!!!! Are you kidding? Oh my god!!!" my mom is jumping up and down. Her and my dad come over and hug us and congratulate us. They are over the moon excited. We tell them the difficulties, the bedrest scare and due date etc. They promise to come visit us in July to see the baby. I am beyond thrilled to hear that. I love my family. I reach for Colleens hand and kiss it. This is the best Christmas ever.
