Flying home

Colleen POV

I sit in the hotel on the couch watching Rachel and Josh run around and get everything packed to go back home. I am so thankful Lilly isn't hurt but I am in so much pain. I cry quietly. Josh looks over at me every 3 seconds and sees me. "Baby....I wish I could take the pain from you. You have been through so much" he says. I smile as he wipes my tears. I lay my head on his shoulder and he hugs me hard. "Lets go home!" he says and we stand up and Rachel pushes the luggage cart out with all of our luggage on it and Josh holds onto me,

Josh POV

I am glad we are going home tonight. Colleen is sitting beside me sleeping wrapped in a blanket on the plane. I reach around to hug Colleen as my arm is already around her and she winces and instantly wakes up. I look at her. "My side hurts. I bruised it the doctor said" she tells me. I lift up her shirt and it is black and blue. I have tears in my eyes and I kiss her. I kiss her like I have never kissed her before and she feels it. She looks at me and says "Josh thank you for coming the last 6 weeks and for taking such good care of me. I love you soooooo much babe". I smile and say "there is no other place I rather be" and I kiss her forehead.

Collens POV

I have been resting in bed for the last two days and my hand is feeling better. Josh is making coffee downstairs. He doesn't go to Starbucks unless I am with him. He won't leave me alone. He is terrified to leave me alone. I laugh to myself.

Today is our doctor checkup. I can't believe we have 18 weeks to go. I am exhausted as it is. I start to get up showered and dressed and make my way downstairs and wait until the time we have to leave for our appt. Josh is outside at his car for something and walks back into the door and sees me. "How you doing baby?" he says as he rubs my casted hand. "I am good" I say and snuggle into him. "We have about another 30 minutes before we need to leave" I reply. "What shall we do?" I add while looking at him with the sexy smile he loves. He kisses me and we continue to make out until its time to leave.

Josh POV

We are sitting in the exam room waiting on Dr Jansen. Colleen says "she is gonna give me shit for falling down the stairs" as she laughs. "Good I hope she does Mrs Evans" I reply back. She kicks me from the exam bed and I grab her foot. "Colleen you need to show her your feet babe. They are getting super swollen" I say. She nods. Just then DR Jansen comes in and sees the cast. Her smile turns to a frown when Colleen tells her the story. She checks her hand and bruised side and then does her regular baby checkup to make sure Lilly is okay. Colleen then shows her feet and the doctor precribes a diuretic. Basically its quite common for pregnant women to have this problem and this medication will eliminate any extra water in her feet and ankle area. The doctor then turns to leave and says see us in a month but I ask to speak to her privately about the trip and to get her approval. Dr Jansen tells me she does not want Colleen flying after 32 weeks. So basically I have 10 weeks to play wtth.
