Mani: DJ wants to know Lauren better.

DinahJane: where are you from?

Mani: and how old are you?

Lauren: Cuba but I moved to California what I was like sixteen. I just turned twenty in June.

DinahJane: ooh I was also born in June! What day?

Lauren: the twenty-seventh. You?

DinahJane: the twenty-second. If we ever meet in real life we totally have to have double birthday parties.

Lauren: lol but that's a cute idea. I don't really throw parties for myself.

Mani: why? Doesn't your girlfriend throw them for you?

Lauren: no Camz doesn't like parties. She considers them a waste of time.

Mani: ok but she at least spends time with you, right?

Lauren: not this year she was busy working.

DinahJane: so what did you do?

Lauren: spent time with my puppy Cleo.

Ally: aw Lauren why didn't you say anything? We could've done something together.

Lauren: I didn't want to bother you.

Ally: you wouldn't have. Lauren you're my friend and I wouldn't have felt bothered if you asked to hang out on your birthday.

Lauren: I just didn't want to get in the way of any plans that you might have had. I'm sorry.

Ally: don't apologize. We're friends Lauren and friends hang out with each other.

Lauren: I guess you're right about that.
